Then Jonathan made a covenant with the house of David, saying,“ May the LORD hold David’s enemies accountable.”Jonathan once again swore to David in his love for him, because he loved him as he loved himself.

They may hand me over to the Judeans to abuse me.”“ They will not hand you over,” Jeremiah replied.“ Obey the LORD in what I am telling you, so it may go well for you and you can live.

You will surely eat what your hands have worked for. You will be happy, and it will go well for you.
