但哪一國肯把頸項放在巴比倫王的軛下，服事他，我就必使那國仍留在本土，可以在那裡耕種和居住。’”這是耶和華的宣告。

基大利向他們和他們的士兵起誓，又對他們說：“你們不必懼怕迦勒底的官員，只管住在這地，服事巴比倫王，就可以平安無事。”

你必吃你親手勞碌得來的，你必享福，事事順利。

他看安居為美，他看肥地為佳，他屈肩負重，成了服苦的奴僕。

你要倚靠耶和華，並要行善；你要住在地上，以信實為糧食。
