『永恆主發神諭說：當那日子君王和首領的心都必消失；祭司都必驚駭，神言人都必詫異。』

耶和華曰、是日君王牧伯、厥心沮喪、祭司驚奇、先知駭異、

耶和華又曰、當是時、國王牧伯喪膽、祭司先知駭愕。

主曰、當是時王與侯伯喪膽、祭司恐惶、先知驚駭、

“ In that day,” declares the Lord,“ the king and the officials will lose heart, the priests will be horrified, and the prophets will be appalled.”

“ A dark day is coming,” announces the Lord.“ The king and his officials will lose hope. The priests will be shocked. And the prophets will be terrified.”

“ In that day, declares the Lord, courage shall fail both king and officials. The priests shall be appalled and the prophets astounded.”

“ In that day,” says the Lord,“ the king and the officials will tremble in fear. The priests will be struck with horror, and the prophets will be appalled.”

“ On that day”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ the king and the officials will lose their courage. The priests will tremble in fear, and the prophets will be scared speechless.”

“ And it shall come about on that day,” declares the Lord,“ that the heart of the king and the hearts of the leaders will fail; and the priests will tremble, and the prophets will be astonished.”

“ And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the Lord,“ That the heart of the king shall perish, And the heart of the princes; The priests shall be astonished, And the prophets shall wonder.”

And it shall come to pass at that day, saith Jehovah, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

你所有的官長一同逃跑，都為弓箭手所捆綁。你中間一切被找到的都一同被捆綁；他們本是逃往遠方的。所以我說：你們轉眼不看我，我要痛哭。不要因我眾民的毀滅，就竭力安慰我。因為主－萬軍之耶和華使「異象谷」有潰亂、踐踏、煩擾的日子。城被攻破，哀聲達到山間。

我的手必攻擊那見虛假異象、用謊詐占卜的先知，他們必不列在我百姓的會中，不錄在以色列家的冊上，也不進入以色列地；你們就知道我是主耶和華。因為他們誘惑我的百姓，說：『平安！』其實沒有平安，就像有人立起牆壁，他們倒用未泡透的灰抹上。所以你要對那些抹上未泡透灰的人說：『牆要倒塌，必有暴雨漫過。大冰雹啊，你們要降下，狂風也要吹裂這牆。』這牆倒塌之後，人豈不問你們說：『你們抹上未泡透的灰在哪裏呢？』」所以主耶和華如此說：「我要發怒，使狂風吹裂這牆，在怒中使暴雨漫過，又發怒降下大冰雹，毀滅這牆。我要這樣拆毀你們那未泡透灰所抹的牆，拆平到地，以致根基露出，牆必倒塌，你們也必在其中滅亡；你們就知道我是耶和華。我要這樣向牆和用未泡透灰抹牆的人成就我怒中所定的，並要對你們說：『牆和抹牆的人都沒有了。』這抹牆的就是以色列的先知，他們指着耶路撒冷說預言，為這城見了平安的異象，其實沒有平安。這是主耶和華說的。」

你們等候驚奇吧！你們宴樂昏迷吧！他們醉了，卻非因酒；他們東倒西歪，卻非因濃酒。因為耶和華將沉睡的靈澆灌你們，封閉你們的眼，蒙蓋你們的頭。你們的眼就是先知；你們的頭就是先見。

對你們預言巴比倫王必不來攻擊你們和這地的先知，現今在哪裏呢？

城被攻破，一切兵丁就在夜間從靠近王園兩城中間的門，出城逃跑；迦勒底人正在四圍攻城。他們就往亞拉巴逃去。

到了早晨，拿八醒了酒，他的妻將這些事都告訴他，他就魂不附體，身僵如石頭一般。過了十天，耶和華擊打拿八，他就死了。

猶大王西底家和一切兵丁看見他們，就在夜間從靠近王園兩城中間的門出城逃跑，往亞拉巴逃去。迦勒底的軍隊追趕他們，在耶利哥的平原追上西底家，將他拿住，帶到哈馬地的利比拉、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒那裏；尼布甲尼撒就審判他。

埃及人的心神必在裏面耗盡；我必敗壞他們的謀略。他們必求問偶像和念咒的、交鬼的、行巫術的。

主說：你們這輕慢的人要觀看，要驚奇，要滅亡；因為在你們的時候，我行一件事，雖有人告訴你們，你們總是不信。」

因為他們從最小的到至大的都一味地貪婪，從先知到祭司都行事虛謊。他們輕輕忽忽地醫治我百姓的損傷，說：平安了！平安了！其實沒有平安。

所以，我滿腰疼痛；痛苦將我抓住，好像產難的婦人一樣。我疼痛甚至不能聽；我驚惶甚至不能看。我心慌張，驚恐威嚇我。我所羨慕的黃昏，變為我的戰兢。

瑣安的首領極其愚昧；法老大有智慧的謀士，所籌劃的成為愚謀。你們怎敢對法老說：我是智慧人的子孫，我是古王的後裔？你的智慧人在哪裏呢？萬軍之耶和華向埃及所定的旨意，他們可以知道，可以告訴你吧！

我的心被傷，如草枯乾，甚至我忘記吃飯。

就是先知說假預言，祭司藉他們把持權柄；我的百姓也喜愛這些事，到了結局你們怎樣行呢？

到那日，埃及人必像婦人一樣，他們必因萬軍之耶和華在埃及以上所掄的手，戰兢懼怕。
