耶和華說：「到那天，君王和官長必喪膽，祭司和先知必驚駭。」

“到那日，君王和首领的勇气消失，祭司也要惊惶，先知都必诧异。”这是耶和华的宣告。

“到那日，君王和首領的勇氣消失，祭司也要驚惶，先知都必詫異。”這是耶和華的宣告。

『永恆主發神諭說：當那日子君王和首領的心都必消失；祭司都必驚駭，神言人都必詫異。』

耶和華曰、是日君王牧伯、厥心沮喪、祭司驚奇、先知駭異、

耶和華又曰、當是時、國王牧伯喪膽、祭司先知駭愕。

主曰、當是時王與侯伯喪膽、祭司恐惶、先知驚駭、

“ In that day,” declares the Lord,“ the king and the officials will lose heart, the priests will be horrified, and the prophets will be appalled.”

“ A dark day is coming,” announces the Lord.“ The king and his officials will lose hope. The priests will be shocked. And the prophets will be terrified.”

“ In that day, declares the Lord, courage shall fail both king and officials. The priests shall be appalled and the prophets astounded.”

“ In that day,” says the Lord,“ the king and the officials will tremble in fear. The priests will be struck with horror, and the prophets will be appalled.”

“ On that day”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ the king and the officials will lose their courage. The priests will tremble in fear, and the prophets will be scared speechless.”

“ And it shall come about on that day,” declares the Lord,“ that the heart of the king and the hearts of the leaders will fail; and the priests will tremble, and the prophets will be astonished.”

“ And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the Lord,“ That the heart of the king shall perish, And the heart of the princes; The priests shall be astonished, And the prophets shall wonder.”

And it shall come to pass at that day, saith Jehovah, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

“ On that day”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ the king and the officials will lose their courage. The priests will tremble in fear, and the prophets will be scared speechless.”

你們的官長一起逃跑，一箭未發便束手就縛，逃到遠方的也一同被擒。所以，我說：「你們不要管我，讓我痛哭一場吧！不要安慰我，我的同胞都被毀滅了。」主——萬軍之耶和華已經定了日子，要使耶路撒冷飽受恐慌、失敗和混亂，城牆被攻破，哭喊聲響徹山間。

我必動手攻擊那些見假異象、說假預言的先知。他們必從我的子民當中被剔除，不被收錄在以色列人的名冊上，也不能進入以色列的土地。這樣，你們就知道我是主耶和華。因為他們欺騙我的子民說，『平安！』其實並沒有平安，就像有人築了一道薄牆，用白灰加以粉飾。所以，你要警告那些粉刷白灰的人，說，『牆必倒塌，暴雨要來臨，冰雹勢必降下，狂風也必大作。』牆倒塌之後，一定會有人問，『你們粉飾的白灰在哪裡呢？』主耶和華說，『我必在烈怒中用狂風暴雨和冰雹來摧毀這牆，我必把你們粉飾的牆夷為平地，使其露出根基。牆倒塌的時候，你們必葬身其中。這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。我要向這牆和粉飾這牆的人發怒，懲罰他們。我告訴你們，這牆完了！粉飾這牆的人也完了！』他們就是那些向耶路撒冷說假預言，在沒有平安的時候宣稱看到了平安異象的以色列先知。這是主耶和華說的。」

你們駐足驚奇吧！你們自我蒙蔽，繼續瞎眼吧！你們醉了，但不是因為酒；你們東倒西歪，但不是因為烈酒。因為耶和華把沉睡的靈傾倒在你們身上，祂封住你們的眼睛，蓋住你們的頭。你們的眼睛就是先知，你們的頭就是先見。

那些曾向你們預言『巴比倫王絕不會來這裡攻打你們』的先知如今在哪裡呢？

城被攻破，西底迦和士兵便在夜間穿過御花園，從兩城牆中間的門逃往亞拉巴。當時迦勒底人仍四面包圍著城。

次日清晨，拿八酒醒以後，他妻子把發生的一切告訴他，他嚇得昏死過去，身體僵硬如石。過了十天，耶和華擊打拿八，他就死了。

猶大王西底迦和所有軍兵見勢不妙，便在夜間穿過御花園，從兩城牆中間的門逃往亞拉巴。但迦勒底的軍隊追上來，在耶利哥的平原擒住西底迦，把他帶到哈馬的利比拉去見巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒，接受審判。

埃及人必灰心喪志，我必破壞他們的計謀。他們必求問偶像、巫師、靈媒和術士。

『藐視真理的人啊，看吧！你們要在驚懼中滅亡，因為我要在你們的時代行一件事，即使有人告訴你們，你們也不會信。』」

因為他們無論貴賤，個個都貪圖不義之財；無論是先知還是祭司，都行為詭詐。他們敷衍了事地醫治我子民的傷痛，說，『沒事了，沒事了！』其實情況很糟。

這使我充滿痛苦，我陷入劇痛中，如同分娩的婦人，我因聽見的話而驚慌，因看見的景象而害怕。我心慌意亂，驚懼不堪，我期盼的黃昏卻令我恐懼。

埃及王聰明的謀士——瑣安的首領們變得愚不可及。他們怎敢在埃及王面前自稱是古聖先賢的子孫呢？埃及王啊，你的智者在哪裡呢？讓他們把萬軍之耶和華對付埃及的計劃告訴你吧！

我的心被摧殘，如草枯萎，以致我不思飲食。

就是先知說假預言，祭司濫用權力，我的子民卻以此為樂。但當最後的結局來臨時，他們還能做什麼呢？

到那日，當萬軍之耶和華揮拳懲罰的時候，埃及人必恐懼戰抖，如柔弱的女子。
