“ In that day,” declares the Lord,“ the king and the officials will lose heart, the priests will be horrified, and the prophets will be appalled.”

“ A dark day is coming,” announces the Lord.“ The king and his officials will lose hope. The priests will be shocked. And the prophets will be terrified.”

“ In that day, declares the Lord, courage shall fail both king and officials. The priests shall be appalled and the prophets astounded.”

“ In that day,” says the Lord,“ the king and the officials will tremble in fear. The priests will be struck with horror, and the prophets will be appalled.”

“ On that day”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ the king and the officials will lose their courage. The priests will tremble in fear, and the prophets will be scared speechless.”

“ And it shall come about on that day,” declares the Lord,“ that the heart of the king and the hearts of the leaders will fail; and the priests will tremble, and the prophets will be astonished.”

“ And it shall come to pass in that day,” says the Lord,“ That the heart of the king shall perish, And the heart of the princes; The priests shall be astonished, And the prophets shall wonder.”

And it shall come to pass at that day, saith Jehovah, that the heart of the king shall perish, and the heart of the princes; and the priests shall be astonished, and the prophets shall wonder.

你们的官长一起逃跑，一箭未发便束手就缚，逃到远方的也一同被擒。所以，我说：“你们不要管我，让我痛哭一场吧！不要安慰我，我的同胞都被毁灭了。”主——万军之耶和华已经定了日子，要使耶路撒冷饱受恐慌、失败和混乱，城墙被攻破，哭喊声响彻山间。

我必动手攻击那些见假异象、说假预言的先知。他们必从我的子民当中被剔除，不被收录在以色列人的名册上，也不能进入以色列的土地。这样，你们就知道我是主耶和华。因为他们欺骗我的子民说，‘平安！’其实并没有平安，就像有人筑了一道薄墙，用白灰加以粉饰。所以，你要警告那些粉刷白灰的人，说，‘墙必倒塌，暴雨要来临，冰雹势必降下，狂风也必大作。’墙倒塌之后，一定会有人问，‘你们粉饰的白灰在哪里呢？’主耶和华说，‘我必在烈怒中用狂风暴雨和冰雹来摧毁这墙，我必把你们粉饰的墙夷为平地，使其露出根基。墙倒塌的时候，你们必葬身其中。这样，你们就知道我是耶和华。我要向这墙和粉饰这墙的人发怒，惩罚他们。我告诉你们，这墙完了！粉饰这墙的人也完了！’他们就是那些向耶路撒冷说假预言，在没有平安的时候宣称看到了平安异象的以色列先知。这是主耶和华说的。”

你们驻足惊奇吧！你们自我蒙蔽，继续瞎眼吧！你们醉了，但不是因为酒；你们东倒西歪，但不是因为烈酒。因为耶和华把沉睡的灵倾倒在你们身上，祂封住你们的眼睛，盖住你们的头。你们的眼睛就是先知，你们的头就是先见。

那些曾向你们预言‘巴比伦王绝不会来这里攻打你们’的先知如今在哪里呢？

城被攻破，西底迦和士兵便在夜间穿过御花园，从两城墙中间的门逃往亚拉巴。当时迦勒底人仍四面包围着城。

次日清晨，拿八酒醒以后，他妻子把发生的一切告诉他，他吓得昏死过去，身体僵硬如石。过了十天，耶和华击打拿八，他就死了。

犹大王西底迦和所有军兵见势不妙，便在夜间穿过御花园，从两城墙中间的门逃往亚拉巴。但迦勒底的军队追上来，在耶利哥的平原擒住西底迦，把他带到哈马的利比拉去见巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒，接受审判。

埃及人必灰心丧志，我必破坏他们的计谋。他们必求问偶像、巫师、灵媒和术士。

“‘藐视真理的人啊，看吧！你们要在惊惧中灭亡，因为我要在你们的时代行一件事，即使有人告诉你们，你们也不会信。’”

因为他们无论贵贱，个个都贪图不义之财；无论是先知还是祭司，都行为诡诈。他们敷衍了事地医治我子民的伤痛，说，‘没事了，没事了！’其实情况很糟。

这使我充满痛苦，我陷入剧痛中，如同分娩的妇人，我因听见的话而惊慌，因看见的景象而害怕。我心慌意乱，惊惧不堪，我期盼的黄昏却令我恐惧。

埃及王聪明的谋士——琐安的首领们变得愚不可及。他们怎敢在埃及王面前自称是古圣先贤的子孙呢？埃及王啊，你的智者在哪里呢？让他们把万军之耶和华对付埃及的计划告诉你吧！

我的心被摧残，如草枯萎，以致我不思饮食。

就是先知说假预言，祭司滥用权力，我的子民却以此为乐。但当最后的结局来临时，他们还能做什么呢？

到那日，当万军之耶和华挥拳惩罚的时候，埃及人必恐惧战抖，如柔弱的女子。
