Therefore the earth will mourn and the heavens above grow dark, because I have spoken and will not relent, I have decided and will not turn back.”

人居斯土、作惡無厭、自謂上帝不加彰癉、故邦國愁慘。土產槁枯、禽獸死亡、伊於何底。

我使穹蒼晦冥、若蔽以麻布。

上帝與人異、不失其信、不回其志、詎有言出而不行、既許而不應。

故土地荒蕪、居民凋喪、野獸飛鳥海魚、俱必滅亡、

蓋是日也、敵軍之勢、若海濤之澎湃、人望岸間、其象愁慘、其色幽暗、晦其光明、蔽以靉靆。

我將示奇事於天上地下、若血、若火、若烟、日變晦冥、月為血色、我耶和華顯赫之日隨至、

惟爾先知、勿為斯民祈禱、呼籲於上、我必不許。

復示我奧旨、行其所立之善意、

四境之內、靡不行淫、厥口詛咒、其國有愁慘之象、斯人也、作不善、行非義、郊原牧場、盡成槁壤。

邦國荒蕪、號呼於我前、國雖荒蕪、人猶不以為意。

逵衢寂寞、行旅不至、敵爽盟約、藐視我城垣、不顧我人民、哀號遍於四境、利巴嫩林已被斬伐、無復向榮、沙崙荒蕪、巴山加密、樹木凋殘、

自日中至未終、徧地晦冥、

我志未成、則怒不息、時至自知、

自始迄終、未來之事、我一一預言、我旨必成、意必就。召彼鷙鳥、至自東土、我所簡者、來自遠方、我言已出、必踐之、我意已定、必成之、

萬有之主耶和華矢之曰、我意已定、我命必成、亞述軍至我地、陟我岡、我必覆亡之、蹂躪之、脫民於苛役、去民之重軛、此我所命於天下、所行於列國中。我萬有之主耶和華命之、誰得廢之、行之、孰能禦之。

土地荒蕪、居民哀哭、位高者亦廢、

惟隨意行萬事者、預定我、因基督、得嗣業、

我耶和華既言之必行之不食言、不回志、不加矜憫、視爾所為、而降重罰、我耶和華已言之矣。

我將援之於陰府、脫之於死亡、消死亡之害、免陰府之災、不易此志、

耶利米曰、我觀地虛曠、天無光、山巒變動、四境無人、飛禽已去、良田荒蕪、城邑傾圮、蓋耶和華涖臨、其怒殊烈。

耶和華告耶利米曰、雖摩西撒母耳代民祈禱、我必弗恤、當遐棄之、屏之遠往、如彼詰爾當往何處、爾必傳我命、告之曰、當死則死、當殺則殺、當饑則饑、當虜則虜。耶和華又曰、我降四災於厥身、刃以戮之、犬以嚙之、飛鳥以噬之、走獸以滅之。流離於萬邦、斯何故與、因猶大王希西家子馬拿西所行於耶路撒冷、耶路撒冷民與、孰矜恤爾、孰慰藉爾、孰問爾安。耶和華又曰、爾違逆予、卻而不前、故我必舉手擊爾、滅爾殆盡、不可復忍、其餘我散之邑門、若舉扇揮塵、喪其子女、猶不悛改、必加殲滅、時值亭午、我必使殘暴壯士、猝攻京邑、降以重災、使其嫠婦、較海沙愈眾、育七子之婦、喪膽斷氣、其年中絕、若日未暮而沉西、故懷慙抱愧、所遺之民、為敵人誅戮我耶和華已言之矣。

自日中至未終、徧地幽暗、

猶大國懷憂、邑民衰絰、哀慘靡已、耶路撒冷號呼、升聞於上。

羔啟六緘、見地大震、日黑如褐、月赤如血、

田畝荒蕪、邦國號呼、五穀已盡、酒釀已罄、膏油已匱、

以色列族之赫赫上帝、異乎世人、不失其信、不回其志。

耶和華告我曰、勿為斯民祈福。彼禁食籲我、我必不應、彼獻燔祭禮物、我不悅納、必以鋒刃、饑饉疾疫、滅之務盡。

自日中至未終、徧地晦冥、

我志未成、則怒不息、時至自知。

穹蒼若軸、舒而復卷、天象錯亂、星辰隕落、若葡萄之葉已凋、若無花果樹之葉已墮、
