良田荒蕪、城邑傾圮、蓋耶和華涖臨、其怒殊烈。

見良田荒蕪、其諸城邑傾圮於主前、皆因主之烈怒、

I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

I looked. And the fruitful land had become a desert. All its towns were destroyed. The Lord had done all this because of his great anger.

I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a desert, and all its cities were laid in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

I looked, and the fertile fields had become a wilderness. The towns lay in ruins, crushed by the Lord’s fierce anger.

使結果實的土地成為鹽鹼地，這都因其上居民的邪惡。

萬軍之耶和華起誓，讓我親耳聽見：「必有許多房屋成為廢墟，甚至那些又大又美的房屋也無人居住。四百公畝葡萄園只出二十二公升的酒；二百二十公升穀種只出二十二公升的糧食。」

「到那日，主必雇用幼發拉底河對岸的剃刀——亞述王，剃光你們的頭髮和腳毛，也刮掉你們的鬍鬚。「到那日，一個人只能養活一頭小母牛和兩隻母羊。因為產的奶很多，他就以乳酪為食；這地上所有剩下的人都將以乳酪和蜂蜜為食。「到那日，所有種過一千棵葡萄樹、值一千塊銀子的地方，都必成為荊棘和蒺藜之地。人到那裡去，就必帶弓和箭，因為遍地都是荊棘和蒺藜。所有被鋤頭翻耕過的山地，你都不會上去，因為你懼怕荊棘和蒺藜；那裡必成為放牛之地、羊群踐踏之處。」

唯獨你是可畏的！你的怒氣一旦發作，誰能在你面前站立得住呢？
