我观看，肥美田园变为荒野；在耶和华面前，就是在他烈怒之下，所有的城市都被拆毁。

良田荒蕪、城邑傾圮、蓋耶和華涖臨、其怒殊烈。

見良田荒蕪、其諸城邑傾圮於主前、皆因主之烈怒、

I looked, and the fruitful land was a desert; all its towns lay in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

I looked. And the fruitful land had become a desert. All its towns were destroyed. The Lord had done all this because of his great anger.

I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a desert, and all its cities were laid in ruins before the Lord, before his fierce anger.

他使肥沃的土地变为咸田，都因住在那里的居民的邪恶。

所以，为你们的缘故，锡安必像被耕种的田地，耶路撒冷必变为乱堆，这殿的山要成为丛林中的高冈。

我听闻万军之耶和华说：“必有许多房屋变成荒凉，甚至那些又大又美的房屋也没有人居住。十公顷葡萄园只出二十二公升酒；二百二十公升谷种只结二十二公升粮食。”

到那日，主必用大河那边租来的剃刀，就是亚述王，剃去你们的头发和脚上的毛，并且剃净你们的胡须。到那时，一个人只能养活一头母牛犊和两只母绵羊。因为出的奶多，他就可以吃奶酪；境内剩下的人，都要吃奶酪和蜂蜜。到那日，从前种一千棵葡萄树，价值一万一千四百克银子的地方，现在却成为荆棘和蒺藜生长之处。人到那里去，必须携带弓和箭，因为遍地都是荆棘和蒺藜。以前所有用锄头挖掘的山地，你因为惧怕荆棘和蒺藜，都不敢上那里去；那里就成了放牛之地，羊群践踏之处。

又看见了遍地有硫磺，有盐卤，有火烧，没有播种，没有出产，寸草不生，好像耶和华在烈怒和怒火中毁灭的所多玛、蛾摩拉、押玛、洗扁一样，看见了这些的人和万国的人都要问：‘耶和华为什么向这地这样行呢？为什么大发烈怒呢？’人就必回答：‘是因为他们离弃了耶和华他们列祖的神的约，就是耶和华把他们从埃及地领出来的时候，与他们所立的；去事奉别的神，向他们叩拜，就是他们不认识的神，也是耶和华没有给他们指定要拜的神；所以耶和华向这地大发烈怒，把这书上所写的一切咒诅都降在这地上；于是耶和华在烈怒、忿怒和大怒中，把他们从他们的地土拔出来，丢在别的地方，像今天一样。’

“犹大悲哀，她的城镇（“城镇”原文作“城门”）衰落，人人都坐在地上悲伤痛哭；耶路撒冷的哀声上达于天。他们的显贵差派童仆去打水；童仆来到池边，却找不到水，就拿着空的器皿回来；他们失望难过，蒙着自己的头。土地干裂，因为地上没有雨水；农夫失望，都蒙着自己的头。甚至母鹿在田野生产了小鹿，也得把它丢弃，因为没有青草。野驴站在光秃的高冈上，像野狗喘着气；它们双目发呆，因为没有青草。”

唯有你是可畏的，你的烈怒一发出，谁能在你面前站立得住呢？

这地悲哀，田野的青草都枯干，要等到几时呢？由于这地居民的恶行，走兽和飞鸟都灭绝了；因为他们说：“神看不见我们的结局。”
