我观看地，看哪，地是空虚混沌；我观看天，天也无光。

先知说：“我观看地，不料，地是空虚混沌；我观看天，天也无光。

我俯瞰大地，一片空虚混沌；我仰望天空，毫无亮光。

我观看地，地是空虚混沌；我仰视天，天上也全然无光。

I looked at the earth, and it was formless and empty; and at the heavens, and their light was gone.

I looked at the earth. It didn’t have any shape. And it was empty. I looked at the sky. Its light was gone.

I looked on the earth, and behold, it was without form and void; and to the heavens, and they had no light.

“那些日子的灾难一过去，太阳要变黑，月亮也不放光，众星要从天上坠落，天上的万象都要震动。

“在那些日子、那灾难以后，太阳要变黑，月亮也不放光，众星要从天上坠落，天上的万象都要震动。

地是空虚混沌，深渊上面一片黑暗；上帝的灵运行在水面上。

天上的星宿都不发光，太阳一升起就变黑暗，月亮也不放光。

日月昏暗，星宿无光。耶和华必从锡安吼叫，从耶路撒冷出声，天地就震动。耶和华却要作他百姓的避难所，作以色列人的保障。

“日月星辰要显出预兆，地上的邦国也有困苦，因海中波浪的响声而惶惶不安。人想到那要临到世界的事，就都吓得魂不附体，因为天上的万象都要震动。

在它们面前，地动天摇，日月昏暗，星宿无光。

我毁灭你时，要遮蔽诸天，使众星昏暗；我必以密云遮掩太阳，月亮也不放光。我要使天上发亮的光体在你上面变为昏暗，使你的地也变为黑暗。这是主耶和华说的。

在天上，我要显出奇事，在地下，我要显出神迹，有血，有火，有烟雾。太阳要变为黑暗，月亮要变为血，这都在主大而光荣的日子未到以前。

那日，他们要向以色列人咆哮，像海浪澎湃；人若望地，看哪，只有黑暗与祸患，光明因密云而变黑暗。

“到那日，我要使太阳在正午落下，使这地在白昼黑暗。”这是主耶和华说的。

我又看见一个白色的大宝座和那坐在上面的；天和地都从他面前逃避，再也找不到它们的位置了。

天地要废去，我的话却绝不废去。”

“我要在天上地下显出奇事，有血，有火，有烟柱。太阳要变为黑暗，月亮要变为血，这都在耶和华大而可畏的日子未到以前。

地必全然破坏，尽都崩裂，剧烈震动。地要摇摇晃晃，好像醉酒的人，又如小屋子摇来摇去；罪过重压其上，它就塌陷，不能复起。到那日，耶和华在天上必惩罚天上的军队，在地上必惩罚地上的列王。他们必被聚集，像囚犯困在牢里，他们被关在监狱，多日之后便受惩罚。那时，月亮要蒙羞，太阳要惭愧，因为万军之耶和华必在锡安山，在耶路撒冷作王，在他众长老面前彰显荣耀。

我要为山岭哭泣悲哀，为旷野的草场扬声哀号；因为都已枯焦，甚至无人经过。牲畜的鸣叫听不见，空中的飞鸟和地上的走兽也都逃离。
