城邑破於陸續、帷帳毀於俄傾、遍地荒蕪。

災患之凶報、絡繹不絕、通國已敗、我幕突毀、我帷傾於俄頃、

Disaster follows disaster; the whole land lies in ruins. In an instant my tents are destroyed, my shelter in a moment.

One trouble follows another. The whole land is destroyed. In an instant my tents are gone. My home disappears in a moment.

Crash follows hard on crash; the whole land is laid waste. Suddenly my tents are laid waste, my curtains in a moment.

Waves of destruction roll over the land, until it lies in complete desolation. Suddenly my tents are destroyed; in a moment my shelters are crushed.

Her king and her leaders are among the nations; The Law is gone. Her prophets, too, find No vision from the Lord.

Panic and pitfall have come upon us, Devastation and destruction;

Let those who persecute me be put to shame, but as for me, let me not be put to shame; Let them be dismayed, but let me not be dismayed. Bring on them a day of disaster, And crush them with double destruction!

“ Separate yourselves from among this congregation, so that I may consume them instantly.”

Wail, for the day of the Lord is near! It will come as destruction from the Almighty.

And blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.

If also after these things you do not obey Me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

But these two things will come on you suddenly in one day: Loss of children and widowhood. They will come on you in full measure In spite of your many sorceries, In spite of the great power of your spells.

then I in turn will show hostility toward you; and I, even I, will strike you seven times for your sins.

Woe for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, And it will come as destruction from the Almighty.

‘ Yet if you show hostility toward Me and are unwilling to obey Me, I will increase the plague on you seven times according to your sins.

When anguish comes, they will seek peace, but there will be none.Disaster will come upon disaster and rumor will be added to rumor; then they will seek a vision from a prophet, but the Law will be lost from the priest, and counsel from the elders.

“ Enlarge the place of your tent; Stretch out the curtains of your dwellings, do not spare them; Lengthen your ropes And strengthen your pegs.

Look at Zion, the city of our appointed feasts; Your eyes will see Jerusalem, an undisturbed settlement, A tent which will not be folded; Its stakes will never be pulled up, Nor any of its ropes be torn apart.
