因此我說：「請你轉眼別看我，讓我痛哭吧！不要因我子民的毀滅而強行安慰我！」

因此，我的心腸為摩押哀鳴如琴瑟哀鳴；我的肺腑也為吉珥-哈列塞哀哭。

我的靈魂哪，當歸回你的歇息之處，因為耶和華恩待你！

我因那些離棄你律法的惡人，就怒火中燒。

我但以理為此精疲力竭，病了幾天；然後起來辦理王的事務。我因這異象而驚恐，無法領悟它。

「這事到此結束。至於我但以理，我的意念使我極其惶恐，臉色也變了，但我卻把這事存在心裡。」
