雖種植之、詎得繁盛、豈不於所植之畦、為東風所搖撼、而盡枯槁乎、○

彼於昆弟中雖結實、而東風將來、即耶和華之風起自原野、使其源竭泉涸、掠其所藏之寶器、

爾其以是言語之曰、我目流涕、晝夜不息、我民處女、大見摧殘、而受重傷、

願我首為水泉、我目為淚源、則可為我被戮之民女、旦夕哭泣、

我儕咸如不潔之人、所有之義、乃若污衊之衣、我皆枯槁如葉、被罪驅逐、如風飄颻、

耶和華之怒已發、有若暴風旋風、擊彼惡人之首、

其手執箕、簸淨厥場、斂麥入倉、而燒穅以不滅之火、○

野犬猶出其乳、以哺厥子兮、惟我民女殘忍、若野間之鴕鳥兮、

昔爾遷之、譴責從輕、東風大作之日、爾以烈風驅之、

爾必簸之、風必揚之、狂風散之、惟爾因耶和華而樂、為以色列之聖者而誇、

萬軍之耶和華曰、因我民女如是、我必陶鎔之、煆煉之、否則何以處之、

其手執箕、簸淨厥場、斂麥入倉、而燒糠以不滅之火、○

因怒見拔、委之於地、東風暵其果、強枝折而枯、為火所焚、

因我民女遭滅、我目流涕如溪兮、

我民女之愆尤、重於所多瑪之罪惡兮、彼傾覆於俄頃、非人手加之兮、

故彼眾若朝雲、若露立見消散、若禾場之糠、為颶風飄揚、若煙騰於牖外、

慈婦手烹其子女兮、我民女遭滅時、以此為糧兮、

故我曰、爾勿我顧、我將痛哭、勿為我民女遭滅、強慰藉我、
