耶和華曰、我將判擬耶路撒冷居民告之曰、我必使災熇之風、來自曠野童山、較簸揚禾穀之風尤大、以擊斯邦之民。

當是時必告斯民及耶路撒冷人曰、炎熇之風、自曠野童山向我民而吹、非為簸揚、非為潔禾、

葡萄树虽然栽种，岂能发旺呢？一经东风，岂不全然枯干吗？必在生长的畦中枯干了。”

他在弟兄中虽然茂盛，必有东风刮来，就是耶和华的风从旷野上来。他的泉源必干；他的源头必竭；仇敌必掳掠他所积蓄的一切宝器。

你要将这话对他们说：‘愿我眼泪汪汪，昼夜不息，因为我百姓受了裂口破坏的大伤。

但愿我的头为水，我的眼为泪的泉源，我好为我百姓中被杀的人昼夜哭泣。

我们都像不洁净的人；所有的义都像污秽的衣服。我们都像叶子渐渐枯干；我们的罪孽好像风把我们吹去。

看哪！耶和华的忿怒好像暴风，已经发出；是暴烈的旋风，必转到恶人的头上。

看哪，耶和华的忿怒好像暴风已经发出；是扫灭的暴风，必转到恶人的头上。耶和华的烈怒必不转消，直到他心中所拟定的成就了；末后的日子你们要明白。

听啊，是我百姓的哀声从极远之地而来，说：“耶和华不在锡安吗？锡安的王不在其中吗？”耶和华说：“他们为什么以雕刻的偶像和外邦虚无的神惹我发怒呢？”

我眼中流泪，以致失明；我的心肠扰乱，肝胆涂地，都因我众民遭毁灭，又因孩童和吃奶的在城内街上发昏。

耶和华如此说：“我必使毁灭的风刮起，攻击巴比伦和住在立加米的人。我要打发外邦人来到巴比伦，簸扬他，使他的地空虚。在他遭祸的日子，他们要周围攻击他。

他手里拿着簸箕，要扬净他的场，把麦子收在仓里，把糠用不灭的火烧尽了。”

野狗尚且把奶乳哺其子，我民的妇人倒成为残忍，好像旷野的鸵鸟一般。

你打发他们去，是相机宜与他们相争；刮东风的日子，就用暴风将他们逐去。

你要把它簸扬，风要吹去；旋风要把它刮散。你倒要以耶和华为喜乐，以以色列的圣者为夸耀。

所以万军之耶和华如此说：“看哪，我要将他们熔化熬炼；不然，我因我百姓的罪该怎样行呢？

他手里拿着簸箕，要扬净他的场，把麦子收在仓里，把糠用不灭的火烧尽了。”

但这葡萄树因忿怒被拔出摔在地上；东风吹干其上的果子，坚固的枝干折断枯干，被火烧毁了；

因我众民遭的毁灭，我就眼泪下流如河。

都因我众民的罪孽比所多玛的罪还大；所多玛虽然无人加手于她，还是转眼之间被倾覆。

因此，他们必如早晨的云雾，又如速散的甘露，像场上的糠秕被狂风吹去，又像烟气腾于窗外。

慈心的妇人，当我众民被毁灭的时候，亲手煮自己的儿女作为食物。

所以我说：“你们转眼不看我，我要痛哭。不要因我众民的毁灭，就竭力安慰我。”
