Nebuzaradan commander of the imperial guard carried into exile to Babylon the people who remained in the city, along with those who had gone over to him, and the rest of the people.

Nebuzaradan was commander of the royal guard. Some people still remained in the city. But he took them away to Babylon as prisoners. He also took along those who had gone over to his side. And he took the rest of the people.

Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, carried into exile to Babylon the rest of the people who were left in the city, those who had deserted to him, and the people who remained.

Then Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, took as exiles to Babylon the rest of the people who remained in the city, those who had defected to him, and everyone else who remained.

耶利米锁在耶路撒冷和犹大被掳到巴比伦的人中，护卫长尼布撒拉旦将他从拉玛释放以后，耶和华的话临到耶利米。

巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月初十日，在巴比伦王面前侍立的护卫长尼布撒拉旦进入耶路撒冷，用火焚烧耶和华的殿和王宫，又焚烧耶路撒冷的房屋，就是各大户家的房屋。跟从护卫长迦勒底的全军就拆毁耶路撒冷四围的城墙。那时护卫长尼布撒拉旦将民中最穷的和城里所剩下的百姓，并已经投降巴比伦王的人，以及大众所剩下的人，都掳去了。但护卫长尼布撒拉旦留下些民中最穷的，使他们修理葡萄园，耕种田地。

因耶和华如此说：‘我必使你自觉惊吓，你也必使众朋友惊吓；他们必倒在仇敌的刀下，你也必亲眼看见；我必将犹大人全交在巴比伦王的手中，他要将他们掳到巴比伦去，也要用刀将他们杀戮。并且我要将这城中的一切货财和劳碌得来的，并一切珍宝，以及犹大君王所有的宝物，都交在他们仇敌的手中；仇敌要当作掠物带到巴比伦去。你这巴施户珥和一切住在你家中的人都必被掳去；你和你的众朋友，就是你向他们说假预言的，都必到巴比伦去，要死在那里，葬在那里。’”

护卫长尼布撒拉旦却将民中毫无所有的穷人留在犹大地，当时给他们葡萄园和田地。巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒提到耶利米，嘱咐护卫长尼布撒拉旦说：“你领他去，好好地看待他，切不可害他；他对你怎么说，你就向他怎么行。”护卫长尼布撒拉旦和尼布沙斯班、拉撒力、尼甲沙利薛、拉墨，并巴比伦王的一切官长，打发人去，将耶利米从护卫兵院中提出来，交与沙番的孙子亚希甘的儿子基大利，带回家去。于是耶利米住在民中。

我要把你们散在列邦中；我也要拔刀追赶你们。你们的地要成为荒场；你们的城邑要变为荒凉。

尼布甲尼撒所掳的民数记在下面：在他第七年掳去犹大人三千零二十三名；尼布甲尼撒十八年从耶路撒冷掳去八百三十二人；尼布甲尼撒二十三年，护卫长尼布撒拉旦掳去犹大人七百四十五名；共有四千六百人。

并且从你本身所生的众子，其中必有被掳去在巴比伦王宫里当太监的。”

耶和华必使你们分散在万民中；在他所领你们到的万国里，你们剩下的人数稀少。
