当着他的面杀了他的众子和犹大所有的首领，

我会让你平安入土到你祖先那里。你不会看到我要降给这地方的一切灾难。’”他们便回去禀告王。

这孩子不和我一同回去，我如何见我父亲呢？我不愿看到灾难临到我父亲。”

我怎能忍心看我本族的人受害？我怎能忍心看我的亲族被杀？”

他们的婴孩将被摔死在他们眼前，家园遭劫掠，妻子被蹂躏。

我会让你平安入土，你不会看到我要降给这地方及这里居民的一切灾难。’”他们便回去禀告王。
