but the Lord takes pleasure in those who fear him, in those who hope in his steadfast love.

The Lord redeems the life of his servants; none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you.

Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; he is their stronghold in the time of trouble.The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him.

Thus shall you say to him, Thus says the Lord: Behold, what I have built I am breaking down, and what I have planted I am plucking up— that is, the whole land.And do you seek great things for yourself? Seek them not, for behold, I am bringing disaster upon all flesh, declares the Lord. But I will give you your life as a prize of war in all places to which you may go.”

so that we who were the first to hope in Christ might be to the praise of his glory.

For all who have sinned without the law will also perish without the law, and all who have sinned under the law will be judged by the law.

who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.

And when they prevailed over them, the Hagrites and all who were with them were given into their hands, for they cried out to God in the battle, and he granted their urgent plea because they trusted in him.

O Lord of hosts, blessed is the one who trusts in you!
