命祭司希勒家、沙番子亞希甘、米該雅子亞革破、繕寫沙番、近臣亞帥亞曰、我得斯書不明厥旨、

巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒使沙番孫、亞希甘子其大利、統轄猶大遺民。諸軍長、及士卒、聞巴比倫王、使其大利統轄斯土、則尼大尼子以實馬利、迦哩亞子約哈難、尼陀法人單戶滅子西勑亞、馬迦人子耶沙尼。率其士卒、至密士巴、見其大利、其大利發誓、告諸軍長、及士卒、曰、毋畏從迦勒底人、臣服巴比倫王、而居斯土、可享平康。七月、宗室以利沙馬孫、尼大尼子以實馬利、統率十人、擊其大利、及同在密士巴之猶大人、迦勒底人皆殺之、

然沙番子亞希甘護翼耶利米、不許庶民殺之。

耶和華試之、屆頒詔之時、災害乃免兮、

西底家王命人幽耶利米於外獄、曰、於烘餅街、取餅一方、與之食、邑中餅盡、然後已。於是耶利米居於外獄。

耶利米猶在外獄之時、耶和華諭之曰、

於是人以繩曳耶利米、出之於井、使居外獄。

猶大國人、耶路撒冷居民、被擄至巴比倫時、耶利米縲絏、雜眾中、至拉馬、侍衛長尼布撒喇擔釋之、厥後耶和華使耶利米以所遇之事臚陳如左。侍衛長告耶利米曰、昔爾曹負罪、干犯耶和華、不遵其命、爾之上帝耶和華言、必降災於斯土、今一如其言、爾曹遇難其驗也。七月、宗室以利沙馬孫、尼大尼子以實馬利、與王臣十人、至密士巴、見亞希甘子其大利、設宴待之。以實馬利與同至十人偕起、各持利刃、於席間擊其大利殺之、斯人也、巴比倫王所立為方伯者。在密士巴從其大利之猶大人、及迦勒底人、武士、悉被以實馬利所殺。
