既至便雅憫門、有閽長名伊利雅、乃哈拿尼孫示利米亞子、執先知耶利米曰、爾欲降迦勒底人乎、

於邑門邑門或作公庭責人者、斯民憾之、以正而言者、以正而言者或作言正直者為彼所厭、

父母則當執之、攜至本鄉之邑門、其邑之長老前、

伊及之公侯、皆來朝見、古實國之人、速來向天主舉手、

如是在後者將為先、在先者將為後、蓋被召者多、蒙選者少也、○

萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、我言降災不降福於斯邑、必有效驗、使爾目睹、主曰、當是日我必援爾、不致付所懼之人手、我必拯救爾、免爾亡於鋒刃、必得保全爾之生命、因爾賴我故、此乃主所言、

將約雅斤擄至巴比倫、王之母、王之后妃、及其宦官、並國中大夫、皆自耶路撒冷擄至巴比倫、

古實人豈能變其膚乎、豹豈能變其斑乎、若能、則爾習於惡者亦能改而行善、

遂起而往、遇伊提約伯人、乃伊提約伯女王干大基有權之宦官、司其諸庫者、彼已上耶路撒冷、崇拜而返、乘車讀先知以賽亞書、聖神謂腓立曰、前往就此車、腓立趨就之、聞其讀先知以賽亞書、乃問曰、爾所讀者明否、曰、無啟迪我者、何能明乎、遂請腓立登車同坐、所讀之經曰、彼如羊被牽就死地、其不啟口、如羔在翦毛者之前而無聲、其卑微時、人廢公義而審之、其生命且滅於世、誰能述其世代乎、宦官謂腓立曰、請問先知言此指誰、指己乎、指他人乎、腓立乃啟口、本此經向彼傳耶穌福音、行路時、至有水處、宦官曰、在此有水、我受洗禮、有何阻乎、腓立曰、若爾盡心以信則可、對曰、我信耶穌基督為天主之子、遂命停車、腓立與宦官二人同下水、施之洗禮、由水而上、主之神攝腓立去、宦官不復見之、乃欣然行路、

我又告爾、自東自西、有眾將至、與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、席坐於天國、而國之諸子、必見逐於外幽暗之地、在彼必有哀哭切齒、

自東自西、自南自北、將有人至、席坐於天主之國、有後者將為先、先者將為後、○

我至城門、設位於衢、少者見我迴避、老者起而立、侯伯不敢言、以手掩口、有爵位者緘默、彷彿舌貼於腭、耳聞我者祝我、目睹我者譽我、因我拯援哀呼之貧民、救護無助之孤子、淪落之人、為我祝福、我使嫠婦中心歡樂、我以德善為衣衣之、以公義為袍為冕、我為瞽者之目、跛者之足、我為貧者之父、素不識者、我為之伸冤抑、我折惡人之牙、自其齒中、奪其所刼、
