你們怨恨那在城門口責備人的，憎惡那說正直話的。

父母就要抓住他，將他帶到本地的城門、本城的長老那裏，

埃及的公侯要出來朝見神；古實人要急忙舉手禱告。

耶穌回答說：「有一個人從耶路撒冷下耶利哥去，落在強盜手中。他們剝去他的衣裳，把他打個半死，就丟下他走了。偶然有一個祭司從這條路下來，看見他就從那邊過去了。又有一個利未人來到這地方，看見他，也照樣從那邊過去了。惟有一個撒馬利亞人行路來到那裏，看見他就動了慈心，上前用油和酒倒在他的傷處，包裹好了，扶他騎上自己的牲口，帶到店裏去照應他。第二天拿出二錢銀子來，交給店主，說：『你且照應他；此外所費用的，我回來必還你。』你想，這三個人哪一個是落在強盜手中的鄰舍呢？」

「你去告訴古實人以伯‧米勒說，萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：我說降禍不降福的話必臨到這城，到那時必在你面前成就了。耶和華說：到那日我必拯救你，你必不致交在你所怕的人手中。我定要搭救你，你不致倒在刀下，卻要以自己的命為掠物，因你倚靠我。這是耶和華說的。」

並將約雅斤和王母、后妃、太監，與國中的大官，都從耶路撒冷擄到巴比倫去了；

古實人豈能改變皮膚呢？豹豈能改變斑點呢？若能，你們這習慣行惡的便能行善了。

腓利就起身去了，不料，有一個衣索匹亞人，是個有大權的太監，在衣索匹亞女王甘大基的手下總管銀庫，他上耶路撒冷禮拜去了。現在回來，在車上坐着，念先知以賽亞的書。聖靈對腓利說：「你去！貼近那車走。」腓利就跑到太監那裏，聽見他念先知以賽亞的書，便問他說：「你所念的，你明白嗎？」他說：「沒有人指教我，怎能明白呢？」於是請腓利上車，與他同坐。他所念的那段經，說：他像羊被牽到宰殺之地，又像羊羔在剪毛的人手下無聲；他也是這樣不開口。他卑微的時候，人不按公義審判他；誰能述說他的世代？因為他的生命從地上奪去。太監對腓利說：「請問，先知說這話是指着誰？是指着自己呢？是指着別人呢？」腓利就開口從這經上起，對他傳講耶穌。二人正往前走，到了有水的地方，太監說：「看哪，這裏有水，我受洗有甚麼妨礙呢？」

我又告訴你們，從東從西，將有許多人來，在天國裏與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各一同坐席；惟有本國的子民竟被趕到外邊黑暗裏去，在那裏必要哀哭切齒了。」

從東、從西、從南、從北將有人來，在神的國裏坐席。只是有在後的，將要在前；有在前的，將要在後。」

我出到城門，在街上設立座位；少年人見我而迴避，老年人也起身站立；王子都停止說話，用手摀口；首領靜默無聲，舌頭貼住上膛。耳朵聽我的，就稱我有福；眼睛看我的，便稱讚我；因我拯救哀求的困苦人和無人幫助的孤兒。將要滅亡的為我祝福；我也使寡婦心中歡樂。我以公義為衣服，以公平為外袍和冠冕。我為瞎子的眼，瘸子的腳。我為窮乏人的父；素不認識的人，我查明他的案件。我打破不義之人的牙牀，從他牙齒中奪了所搶的。
