西底家王說：「他在你們手中，無論何事，王也不能與你們反對。」

西底家王說：「看哪，他在你們手中，王不能反對你們所做的事。」

西底家王說：「看哪，他在你們手中，王不能反對你們所做的事。」

西底迦王說：「你們可以隨意處置他，我不會阻止你們。」

西底家王說：“看哪！他在你們手中；王不能作甚麼反對你們。”

西底家王說：『看哪，他在你們手中；無論怎樣王都不會干涉你們。』

西底家王曰、彼在爾手、王不能禦爾也、

西底家王曰、權操諸爾、王莫能禦焉。

西底家王曰、斯人在爾手中、王毫不能禁爾、

“ He is in your hands,” King Zedekiah answered.“ The king can do nothing to oppose you.”

King Zedekiah said,“ Behold, he is in your hands, for the king can do nothing against you.”

King Zedekiah agreed.“ All right,” he said.“ Do as you like. I can’t stop you.”

King Zedekiah said,“ Here he is; he’s in your hands since the king can’t do anything against you.”

And King Zedekiah said,“ Behold, he is in your hands; for the king can do nothing against you.”

Then Zedekiah the king said,“ Look, he is in your hand. For the king can do nothing against you.”

And Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand; for the king is not he that can do anything against you.

King Zedekiah said,“ Here he is; he’s in your hands since the king can’t do anything against you.”

Then Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he[ is] in your hand: for the king[ is] not[ he that] can do[ any] thing against you.

King Zedekiah said to them,“ Very well, you can do what you want with him. For I cannot do anything to stop you.”

Zedekiah the king said,“ Behold, he is in your hand; for the king can’t do anything to oppose you.”

I’m the anointed king. But today I’m weak. These sons of Zeruiah are too powerful for me. May the Lord pay back the one who killed Abner! May he pay him back for the evil thing he has done!”

If you are afraid of people, it will trap you. But if you trust in the Lord, he will keep you safe.

But David replied,“ You and Joab are sons of Zeruiah. What does this have to do with you? What right do you have to interfere? Should anyone be put to death in Israel today? Don’t I know that today I am king over Israel again?”

Achish answered,“ You have been as pleasing to me as an angel of God. But the Philistine commanders have said,‘ We don’t want David to go up with us into battle.’

Then Saul said to Samuel,“ I have sinned. I’ve broken the Lord’ s command. I haven’t done what you directed me to do. I was afraid of the men. So I did what they said I should do.

Anyone who claims to be a king is against Caesar!”When Pilate heard that, he brought Jesus out. Pilate sat down on the judge’s seat. It was at a place called the Stone Walkway. In the Aramaic language it was called Gabbatha.It was about noon on Preparation Day in Passover Week.“ Here is your king,” Pilate said to the Jews.But they shouted,“ Take him away! Take him away! Crucify him!”“ Should I crucify your king?” Pilate asked.“ We have no king but Caesar,” the chief priests answered.Finally, Pilate handed Jesus over to them to be nailed to a cross. So the soldiers took charge of Jesus.
