我循斯言、告猶大王西底家曰、爾曹當以項負巴比倫王軛、而服事之、及其庶民、則獲生存、爾與爾民、何為欲亡於鋒刃饑饉疫癘、如耶和華論不事巴比倫王之國所言者乎、

其狀若我昔來滅城時、所見之異象、亦如在迦巴魯河濱所見者、我則面伏於地、

如先知被誘而宣言、乃我耶和華使然、我必伸手其上、滅之於我民以色列中、

迦勒底軍追王、及於耶利哥之平原、王軍潰散、迦勒底人執王、解至哈馬之利比拉、巴比倫王所、而審鞫之、巴比倫王戮西底家諸子、使之目睹、又在利比拉、戮猶大諸牧伯、抉西底家目、繫之以鏈、攜至巴比倫、下之於獄、迄於死日、○巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月十日、侍巴比倫王之侍衛長尼布撒拉旦、入耶路撒冷、燬耶和華室與王宮、及耶路撒冷諸室、所有第宅、悉焚以火、
