But if you will not surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, this city will be given into the hands of the Babylonians and they will burn it down; you yourself will not escape from them.’”

蓋主如是云、此邑必付於巴比倫王軍旅之手、必取之、

主如是云、惟猶大王西底家、與其牧伯、及耶路撒冷之遺民、尚遺於斯地者、及旅於伊及者、我必使若此劣甚不可食之劣無花果、我必使天下萬國、加之凌虐惡待、使其被羞辱、被諷刺、被譏誚、被咒詛、在我所逐之之各處、我必使其遭鋒刃、饑饉、瘟疫、以至滅於我所賜彼及其列祖之地焉、

蓋耶利米曾述預言曰、主如是云、我將付此邑於巴比倫王手、使彼取之、猶大王西底家不能脫於迦勒底人手、必付於巴比倫王手、面審詰問、面審詰問原文作其口彼此對言其目彼此相視必將西底家擄至巴比倫、居彼待我眷顧之、爾曹雖與迦勒底人戰、必不獲勝、此乃主所言、猶大王西底家遂問耶利米曰、爾何為述若是之預言、於是囚之於獄、

於是城破、王與諸戰士、由近王園兩城中之門、夜逃遁、迦勒底人在城四圍、王由平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、迦勒底軍追王、在耶利歌平原及之、王之眾軍、離之四散、迦勒底人執王、解至利比拉、巴比倫王前、遂審鞫之、乃屠戮西底家諸子於西底家目前、抉西底家之二目、繫以銅索、攜至巴比倫、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年、五月七日、其臣侍衛長尼布撒拉旦至耶路撒冷、以火焚主殿與王宮、及耶路撒冷之一切屋宇、並諸大宅、諸大宅或作諸顯者之室從侍衛長之迦勒底軍、毀耶路撒冷四周之城垣、

猶大王約雅斤被擄後三十七年、巴比倫王以未米羅達即位之年、十二月二十七日、出猶大王約雅斤於獄、易其囚服、以善言慰之、賜之以位、高於同在巴比倫諸王之位、使之終身食於王席、

人將曳爾后妃眾子見迦勒底人、爾亦不能脫於其手、必為巴比倫王所擒、爾亦使此邑被火焚燬、

於是城破、迦勒底人在城四圍、王與諸戰士由近王園兩城中之門、夜間出城而遁、望平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、迦勒底軍追王、在耶利歌之平原及之、王之眾軍、離之四散、迦勒底人執王、解至哈末地之利比拉、巴比倫王前、遂審鞫之、巴比倫王屠戮西底家諸子於西底家目前、又在利比拉屠戮猶大諸牧伯、抉西底家之兩目、繫以銅索、攜至巴比倫、囚之於獄、至於死日、

迦勒底人必復至攻擊斯邑、必取之、以火焚燬、

主以色列之天主如是云、爾往見猶大王西底家、告之曰、主如是云、我將付斯邑於巴比倫王手、必以火焚燬、爾不得脫其手、必為人所執、付於巴比倫王手、而鞫詰問、面鞫詰問原文作爾之目將見巴比倫王之目其口將與爾口言爾必至巴比倫、

巴比倫王第八年、猶大王約雅斤偕其母與臣僕、牧伯、宦官、皆出而降巴比倫王、巴比倫王執之、

巴比倫王之侯伯、尼甲沙利薛、三甲尼波、宦官長撒西金、博士長尼甲沙利薛、及巴比倫王其餘一切侯伯咸至、坐於中門、

為之張網、使陷於我之羅、攜至巴比倫、在彼必罰之、必罰之或作必審鞫之因其獲罪於我、獲罪於我或作背叛我其軍中逃遁者必殞於鋒刃、所遺者必分散四方、爾曹則知我耶和華已言之矣、○

惟爾以色列之君、褻慢作惡、爾之罪愆貫盈、受報之日已至、主天主如是云、當除冠脫冕、不復存留、卑者必升為高、高者必降為卑、我必毀滅斯國、毀滅復毀滅、使歸於烏有、迨當得之者至、我則賜之、○

迦勒底軍旅追之、在耶利歌平原追及西底家、執之、解至哈末地之利比拉、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒前、遂審鞫之、巴比倫王在利比拉、屠戮西底家諸子於西底家目前、亦屠戮猶大之諸顯者、抉西底家之兩目、繫以銅索、欲攜至巴比倫、

我為彼張我網、使陷我罟、攜至迦勒底之巴比倫、然不得見其地、亦必死於彼、
