But if you will not surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, this city will be given into the hands of the Babylonians and they will burn it down; you yourself will not escape from them.’”

至於無花果之劣而不可食者、耶和華曰、此若猶大王西底家、與其牧伯、及耶路撒冷遺民、居於斯土之眾、與旅於埃及者、我必付之於敵、播散於天下萬國、俾遭禍害、在我驅至之處、受凌辱、為話柄、被訕笑、服呪詛、亦必加以鋒刃、饑饉疫癘、迨其滅於我所錫彼、及其列祖之地、

蓋猶大王西底家囚之、曰、爾奚預言曰、耶和華云、我必付此邑於巴比倫王手、彼必取之、且猶大王西底家、不得脫迦勒底人手、必付於巴比倫王、而與之言、口相對、目相視、必攜西底家至巴比倫、居彼、迨我眷顧之之時、爾曹雖與迦勒底人戰、必不利達、耶和華言之矣、○

於是穴城、戰士由附近王囿兩垣間之門夜遁、迦勒底人環城、王由亞拉巴道而走、迦勒底軍追之、及於耶利哥之平原、王軍潰散、迦勒底軍執王、解至利比拉、巴比倫王所、而審鞫之、戮其諸子、使之目睹、抉其兩目、縶之以鏈、攜至巴比倫、○巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒十九年五月七日、其臣侍衛長尼布撒拉旦至耶路撒冷、燬耶和華室與王宮、及耶路撒冷諸屋、所有第宅、悉焚以火、從侍衛長之迦勒底軍、毀耶路撒冷四周城垣、

猶大王約雅斤被虜後三十七年、巴比倫王以未米羅達即位元年、十二月二十七日、拔猶大王約雅斤出獄、以善言慰之、使其位高於同在巴比倫諸王之位、易其囚服、畢生與王共食、王日賜其所需、終身不匱、

爾之妻孥、必被攜出、至迦勒底人、爾亦不得脫於其手、必為巴比倫王之手所擒、且使斯邑被焚、

於是穴城、戰士由附近王囿、兩垣間之門出邑、夜遁、迦勒底人環城、眾向亞拉巴而走、迦勒底軍追王、及於耶利哥之平原、王軍潰散、迦勒底人執王、解至哈馬之利比拉、巴比倫王所、而審鞫之、巴比倫王戮西底家諸子、使之目睹、又在利比拉、戮猶大諸牧伯、抉西底家目、繫之以鏈、攜至巴比倫、下之於獄、迄於死日、○

迦勒底人必復來攻斯邑、取而焚之、

以色列之上帝耶和華曰、往告猶大王西底家曰、耶和華云、我必付是邑於巴比倫王手、彼將焚之以火、爾不得脫於其手、必見執而付於其手、爾目觀巴比倫王之目、彼與爾言、以口對口、爾必至巴比倫、

猶大王約雅斤與其母、及其臣僕、牧伯宦豎出降、巴比倫王執之、此巴比倫王八年事也、

巴比倫王之牧伯、尼甲沙利薛、三甲尼波、宦官長撒西金、博士長尼甲沙利薛、及巴比倫王其餘之牧伯、咸入、坐於中門、

必張我網於其上、陷之於我擭、曳至巴比倫、在彼鞫其逆我之罪、其軍中之遁者、必隕於刃、遺民散於四方、爾則知乃我耶和華所言也、○

行惡重傷之以色列君乎、爾日屆矣、罰罪之期至矣、主耶和華曰、去其冕、脫其冠、諸事變易、卑者升之、高者降之、我必傾覆之、至再至三、所有者歸於無有、俟當得者至、則賜之焉、○

迦勒底軍旅追之、追及西底家於耶利哥平原、執之、攜至哈馬地之利比拉、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒所、而審鞫之、巴比倫王在利比拉、戮西底家諸子、使之目睹、亦戮猶大諸貴胄、抉西底家之目、縶之以鏈、欲攜至巴比倫、

我必張網於其上、陷之於我擭、曳至迦勒底地之巴比倫、彼雖死於其地、而不得見之、

猶大與耶路撒冷之牧伯、宦豎祭司、境內諸民、凡過剖犢之間者、我必付之於敵、及索其命者之手、其屍必為飛鳥野獸所食、猶大王西底家、暨其牧伯、我必付之於敵、及索其命者之手、並付於巴比倫王軍旅之手、即去爾而往者、耶和華曰、我必命之復返是邑、攻而取之、焚之以火、我亦必使猶大諸邑荒蕪、無人居處、
