耶利米乃奏西底家曰、萬有之主、以色列族之上帝耶和華云、如爾出邑、歸誠巴比倫王牧伯、則爾一家生命可保、斯邑不遭焚燬。

耶利米謂西底家曰、主萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、如爾出邑見見或作降下同巴比倫王之將帥、則爾必得保全生命、此邑不致被火焚燬、爾與爾全家必得生存、

Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ This is what the Lord God Almighty, the God of Israel, says:‘ If you surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, your life will be spared and this city will not be burned down; you and your family will live.

So Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ The Lord God who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,‘ Give yourself up to the officers of the king of Babylon. Then your life will be spared. And this city will not be burned down. You and your family will remain alive.

Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ Thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: If you will surrender to the officials of the king of Babylon, then your life shall be spared, and this city shall not be burned with fire, and you and your house shall live.

Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ This is what the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says:‘ If you surrender to the Babylonian officers, you and your family will live, and the city will not be burned down.

Jeremiah therefore said to Zedekiah,“ This is what the LORD, the God of Armies, the God of Israel, says:‘ If indeed you surrender to the officials of the king of Babylon, then you will live, this city will not be burned, and you and your household will survive.

So Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ This is what the Lord God of armies, the God of Israel says:‘ If you will indeed surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon, then you will live, this city will not be burned with fire, and you and your household will survive.

Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ Thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel:‘ If you surely surrender to the king of Babylon’s princes, then your soul shall live; this city shall not be burned with fire, and you and your house shall live.

Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith Jehovah, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: If thou wilt go forth unto the king of Babylon’s princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thy house.

Jeremiah therefore said to Zedekiah,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Hosts, the God of Israel, says:‘ If indeed you surrender to the officials of the king of Babylon, then you will live, this city will not be burned down, and you and your household will survive.

Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If thou wilt assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon’s princes, then thy soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and thou shalt live, and thine house:

Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ The LORD, the God who rules over all, the God of Israel, says,‘ You must surrender to the officers of the king of Babylon. If you do, your life will be spared and this city will not be burned down. Indeed, you and your whole family will be spared.

Then Jeremiah said to Zedekiah,“ Yahweh, the God of Armies, the God of Israel, says:‘ If you will go out to the king of Babylon’s princes, then your soul will live, and this city will not be burned with fire. You will live, along with your house.

I gave the same message to Zedekiah king of Judah. I said,“ Bow your neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon; serve him and his people, and you will live. (niv)

“ This is what the Lord says:‘ Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague, but whoever goes over to the Babylonians will live. They will escape with their lives; they will live.’ (niv)

Do not listen to them. Serve the king of Babylon, and you will live. Why should this city become a ruin? (niv)

“ Furthermore, tell the people,‘ This is what the Lord says: See, I am setting before you the way of life and the way of death.Whoever stays in this city will die by the sword, famine or plague. But whoever goes out and surrenders to the Babylonians who are besieging you will live; they will escape with their lives.I have determined to do this city harm and not good, declares the Lord. It will be given into the hands of the king of Babylon, and he will destroy it with fire.’ (niv)

Then all the officials of the king of Babylon came and took seats in the Middle Gate: Nergal-Sharezer of Samgar, Nebo-Sarsekim a chief officer, Nergal-Sharezer a high official and all the other officials of the king of Babylon. (niv)

Therefore I will send you into exile beyond Damascus,” says the Lord, whose name is God Almighty. (niv)

Return to us, God Almighty! Look down from heaven and see! Watch over this vine, (niv)

if you do not oppress the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow and do not shed innocent blood in this place, and if you do not follow other gods to your own harm,then I will let you live in this place, in the land I gave your ancestors for ever and ever. (niv)

Jehoiachin king of Judah, his mother, his attendants, his nobles and his officials all surrendered to him. In the eighth year of the reign of the king of Babylon, he took Jehoiachin prisoner. (niv)

so that it will be established and that your name will be great forever. Then people will say,‘ The Lord Almighty, the God over Israel, is Israel’s God!’ And the house of your servant David will be established before you. (niv)

Restore us, God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved. (niv)

Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel gathered around me because of this unfaithfulness of the exiles. And I sat there appalled until the evening sacrifice. (niv)

“ But he stands alone, and who can oppose him? He does whatever he pleases. (niv)
