Then King Zedekiah sent for Jeremiah the prophet and had him brought to the third entrance to the temple of the Lord.“ I am going to ask you something,” the king said to Jeremiah.“ Do not hide anything from me.”

One day King Zedekiah sent for Jeremiah and had him brought to the third entrance of the Lord’s Temple.“ I want to ask you something,” the king said.“ And don’t try to hide the truth.”

King Zedekiah sent for the prophet Jeremiah and received him at the third entrance of the LORD’s temple. The king said to Jeremiah,“ I am going to ask you something; don’t hide anything from me.”

Then King Zedekiah sent word and had Jeremiah the prophet brought to him at the third entrance that is in the house of the Lord; and the king said to Jeremiah,“ I am going to ask you something; do not hide anything from me.”

Then Zedekiah the king sent and had Jeremiah the prophet brought to him at the third entrance of the house of the Lord. And the king said to Jeremiah,“ I will ask you something. Hide nothing from me.”

Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the prophet unto him into the third entry that is in the house of Jehovah: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from me.

Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the prophet unto him into the third entry that[ is] in the house of the LORD: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask thee a thing; hide nothing from me.

Some time later Zedekiah sent and had Jeremiah brought to him at the third entrance of the LORD’s temple. The king said to Jeremiah,“ I would like to ask you a question. Do not hide anything from me when you answer.”

Then Zedekiah the king sent and took Jeremiah the prophet to himself into the third entry that is in Yahweh’s house. Then the king said to Jeremiah,“ I will ask you something. Hide nothing from me.”

曰、主諭爾何言、勿隱於我、如爾以主所諭爾者、向我隱一言、願主降重罰於爾、撒母耳以一切所言盡告之、毫無所隱、以利曰、言者乃主、惟願主循意而行、

西底家王遣瑪基亞子巴施戶珥、祭司瑪西雅子西番亞、見耶利米而謂之曰、今巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒攻我、爾為我禱主、或者主循昔所行之奇事待我、俾巴比倫王離我而返、

王謂之曰、我豈不屢使爾發誓、爾奉主名告我、惟以真實而告乎、

爾曹謬妄、自取其罪、爾曾遣我至主爾之天主前、曰、求爾代我儕祈禱主我之天主、凡主我之天主所諭爾者、爾其告我、我必遵行、

西底家遣人取之出獄、令潛入其宮、問之曰、爾自主得有默示否、耶利米曰、有、又曰、爾必見付於巴比倫王手、

告先知耶利米曰、乞爾為我儕即斯遺民祈禱於主爾之天主、我民素多、今所遺者寡、爾所目睹、願主爾之天主、示我當行之途、當為之事、先知耶利米謂之曰、我允爾所求、我允爾所求原文作我已聽矣我必循爾所言、祈禱主爾之天主、凡主所應者我必告爾、一無所隱於爾、眾告耶利米曰、凡主爾之天主、遣爾諭我之言、我必遵行、主真實誠信、願主於爾我間為證、

主之殿宇所建安息日用有蓋之游廊、安息日用有蓋之游廊或作安息日用之棚與王由外入殿所過之廊、亞哈斯為亞述王悉除於主之殿宇、

其席之殽饌、群臣之居室、僕役如何侍立、如何服飾、又觀其酒政、及主殿中所獻之火焚祭、則神為之奪、

王謂之曰、我豈不屢使爾發誓、爾奉主名告我、惟以真實而告乎、
