十一年四月九日取之。巴比倫王之牧伯、尼甲沙利泄、三甲尼破、宦官長撒西金、博士長尼甲沙哩設、又有王之牧伯數人、咸至坐於中門。猶大王西底家與諸武士見此、則夤夜逃遁、有途近於王囿、有門在於二垣之間、由此以出、望平原而去、迦勒底人帥師、追及之、於耶利哥平原執之、解至哈末地之立拉、以見巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒、請彼定擬。巴比倫王在立拉、殺西底家之世子、使之目睹、猶大之家亦遭誅殛。抉西底家之目、繫以銅索、被逮於巴比倫、王宮民室、悉為迦勒底人所燬、墮耶路撒冷城垣。

人將曳爾妻子、見迦勒底人、爾亦不能脫其手、必為巴比倫王所獲、斯邑必焚以火、皆爾自取。

猶大王西底家及其牧伯、我必付之於敵手、殲滅其生命、巴比倫王之軍族、雖去爾而他往、我將命之復至、攻城而取之、焚之以火、使猶大諸邑荒蕪、無人居處。
