King Zedekiah then gave orders for Jeremiah to be placed in the courtyard of the guard and given a loaf of bread from the street of the bakers each day until all the bread in the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guard.

So King Zedekiah commanded that Jeremiah not be returned to the dungeon. Instead, he was imprisoned in the courtyard of the guard in the royal palace. The king also commanded that Jeremiah be given a loaf of fresh bread every day as long as there was any left in the city. So Jeremiah was put in the palace prison.

So King Zedekiah gave orders, and Jeremiah was placed in the guard’s courtyard. He was given a loaf of bread each day from the bakers’ street until all the bread was gone from the city. So Jeremiah remained in the guard’s courtyard.

Then King Zedekiah gave a command, and they placed Jeremiah in custody in the courtyard of the guardhouse, and gave him a loaf of bread daily from the bakers’ street, until all the bread in the city was gone. So Jeremiah remained in the courtyard of the guardhouse.

Then Zedekiah the king commanded, and they committed Jeremiah into the court of the guard. They gave him daily a loaf of bread out of the bakers’ street, until all the bread in the city was gone. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the guard.

四月初九日，城裏有大饑荒，甚至百姓都沒有糧食。

他必居高處；他的保障是磐石的堅壘；他的糧必不缺乏；他的水必不斷絕。

耶和華的眼目看顧敬畏他的人和仰望他慈愛的人，要救他們的命脫離死亡，並使他們在饑荒中存活。

於是彼得被囚在監裏；教會卻為他切切地禱告神。

你們要先求他的國和他的義，這些東西都要加給你們了。

保羅在自己所租的房子裏住了足足兩年。凡來見他的人，他全都接待，

（我為這福音的奧祕作了帶鎖鍊的使者，）並使我照着當盡的本分放膽講論。

夜間，每逢交更的時候要起來呼喊，在主面前傾心如水。你的孩童在各市口上受餓發昏；你要為他們的性命向主舉手禱告。耶和華啊，求你觀看！見你向誰這樣行？婦人豈可吃自己所生育手裏所搖弄的嬰孩嗎？祭司和先知豈可在主的聖所中被殺戮嗎？

王的心在耶和華手中，好像隴溝的水隨意流轉。

進了羅馬城，保羅蒙准和一個看守他的兵另住在一處。

你要喝那溪裏的水，我已吩咐烏鴉在那裏供養你。」於是以利亞照着耶和華的話，去住在約旦河東的基立溪旁。烏鴉早晚給他叼餅和肉來，他也喝那溪裏的水。

我叔叔的兒子哈拿篾果然照耶和華的話來到護衛兵的院內，對我說：「我在便雅憫境內、亞拿突的那塊地，求你買來；因你買來是合乎承受之理，是你當贖的。你為自己買來吧！」我－耶利米就知道這是耶和華的話。

我眼中流淚，以致失明；我的心腸擾亂，肝膽塗地，都因我眾民遭毀滅，又因孩童和吃奶的在城內街上發昏。那時，他們在城內街上發昏，好像受傷的，在母親的懷裏，將要喪命；對母親說：穀、酒在哪裏呢？

我為這福音受苦難，甚至被捆綁，像犯人一樣。然而神的道卻不被捆綁。

餓死的不如被刀殺的，因為這是缺了田間的土產，就身體衰弱，漸漸消滅。慈心的婦人，當我眾民被毀滅的時候，親手煮自己的兒女作為食物。

人所行的，若蒙耶和華喜悅，耶和華也使他的仇敵與他和好。

你當倚靠耶和華而行善，住在地上，以他的信實為糧；

他們必將你困在你各城裏，直到你所倚靠、高大堅固的城牆都被攻塌。他們必將你困在耶和華－你神所賜你遍地的各城裏。你在仇敵圍困窘迫之中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和華－你神所賜給你的兒女之肉。你們中間，柔弱嬌嫩的人必惡眼看他弟兄和他懷中的妻，並他餘剩的兒女；甚至在你受仇敵圍困窘迫的城中，他要吃兒女的肉，不肯分一點給他的親人，因為他一無所剩。你們中間，柔弱嬌嫩的婦人，是因嬌嫩柔弱不肯把腳踏地的，必惡眼看她懷中的丈夫和她的兒女。她兩腿中間出來的嬰孩與她所要生的兒女，她因缺乏一切就要在你受仇敵圍困窘迫的城中將他們暗暗地吃了。

你不要以給我們的主作見證為恥，也不要以我這為主被囚的為恥；總要按神的能力，與我為福音同受苦難。

吃奶孩子的舌頭因乾渴貼住上膛；孩童求餅，無人擘給他們。素來吃美好食物的，現今在街上變為孤寒；素來臥朱紅褥子的，現今躺臥糞堆。

過了兩年，波求‧非斯都接了腓力斯的任；腓力斯要討猶太人的喜歡，就留保羅在監裏。

他們在急難的時候不致羞愧，在饑荒的日子必得飽足。

因飢餓燥熱，我們的皮膚就黑如爐。

打發人去，將耶利米從護衛兵院中提出來，交與沙番的孫子亞希甘的兒子基大利，帶回家去。於是耶利米住在民中。耶利米還囚在護衛兵院中的時候，耶和華的話臨到他說：

我為主被囚的勸你們：既然蒙召，行事為人就當與蒙召的恩相稱。

耶和華的聖民哪，你們當敬畏他，因敬畏他的一無所缺。少壯獅子還缺食忍餓，但尋求耶和華的甚麼好處都不缺。
