Neither he nor his attendants nor the people of the land paid any attention to the words the Lord had spoken through Jeremiah the prophet.

Zedekiah and his attendants didn’t pay any attention to what the Lord had said through Jeremiah the prophet. And the people of the land didn’t pay any attention either.

But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land listened to the words of the Lord that he spoke through Jeremiah the prophet.

But neither King Zedekiah nor his attendants nor the people who were left in the land listened to what the Lord said through Jeremiah.

He and his officers and the people of the land did not obey the words of the LORD that he spoke through the prophet Jeremiah.

Finally the LORD got very angry at his people and there was no one who could prevent his judgment.

and sent word through Nathan the prophet that he should be named Jedidiah for the LORD’s sake.

All Israel buried him and mourned for him, just as the LORD had predicted through his servant the prophet Ahijah.

The prophet Jehu son of Hanani received from the LORD the message predicting the downfall of Baasha and his family because of all the evil Baasha had done in the sight of the LORD. Consequently the one who rejects this is not rejecting human authority but God, who gives his Holy Spirit to you.
