Neither he nor his attendants nor the people of the land paid any attention to the words the Lord had spoken through Jeremiah the prophet.

Zedekiah and his attendants didn’t pay any attention to what the Lord had said through Jeremiah the prophet. And the people of the land didn’t pay any attention either.

But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land listened to the words of the Lord that he spoke through Jeremiah the prophet.

西底家行耶和華所惡、效約雅敬所為、耶和華怒耶路撒冷及猶大、致屏之於其前、

君長若聽誑言、臣僕則盡奸邪、

行耶和華所惡、先知耶利米以耶和華言諭之、彼不自卑、尼布甲尼撒使其指上帝而誓、彼仍背叛、強其項、剛厥心、不歸服以色列之上帝耶和華、且諸祭司長與民眾、大干罪戾、從異邦可憎之事、污耶和華在耶路撒冷區別為聖之室、其列祖之上帝耶和華、矜恤其民、與其居所、夙興遣使以戒之、惟彼訕笑上帝之使、藐視其言、譏其先知、致耶和華之怒及於其民、無可救治、

藉先知拿單名子曰耶底底亞、緣耶和華之故也、○

以色列眾葬之、為之哀悼、如耶和華藉其僕先知亞希雅所言、

曰、主歟、請遣所欲遣者、

亞倫及其子、悉循耶和華藉摩西所命之事而行、

我曾諭諸先知、增加異象、藉先知以設譬、

耶和華藉哈拿尼子先知耶戶、責巴沙及其家、因其行耶和華所惡、以其手所為、激厥震怒、效耶羅波安家、而殺其人、○

大衛曰、昔哈嫩父拿轄施仁慈於我、今我將施仁慈於其子哈嫩、遂遣僕往、唁其喪父、大衛僕至亞捫族地、

以蠢者傳言、乃自斷其足、必受損傷、

行惡重傷之以色列君乎、爾日屆矣、罰罪之期至矣、

故拒之者非拒人、乃拒賜聖神之上帝也、○
