Neither he nor his attendants nor the people of the land paid any attention to the words the Lord had spoken through Jeremiah the prophet.

Zedekiah and his attendants didn’t pay any attention to what the Lord had said through Jeremiah the prophet. And the people of the land didn’t pay any attention either.

But neither he nor his servants nor the people of the land listened to the words of the Lord that he spoke through Jeremiah the prophet.

他行耶和华眼中看为恶的事，像约雅敬一切所行的。因为耶和华的怒气向耶路撒冷和犹大发作，直到他把他们从自己的面前赶走。后来，西底家背叛了巴比伦王。

如果掌权者听信谎言，他所有的臣仆必都是坏人。

就差派拿单先知去，照着耶和华的吩咐，给他起名叫耶底底亚。

以色列众人把他埋葬了，又为他举哀，好像耶和华藉着他的仆人亚希雅先知所说的话一样。

摩西说：“主啊，请你差派你愿意差派的人。”

于是亚伦和他的儿子行了耶和华藉着摩西吩咐的一切事。

我曾对先知说话，加添许多异象；又藉先知说比喻。

再者，耶和华的话藉着哈尼拿的儿子耶户先知指责巴沙和他的家，是因为他像耶罗波安的家一样，行了耶和华看为恶的事，以他手所作的惹耶和华发怒，又因为他击杀了耶罗波安的家。

大卫说：“我要恩待拿辖的儿子哈嫩，像他父亲恩待我一样。”于是大卫差派自己的臣仆，为他丧父的事安慰他。大卫的臣仆到了亚扪人境内时，

藉愚昧人的手传递信息的，是自断己足，自寻烦恼。

你这该死、邪恶的以色列王啊！你的日子到了，最后惩罚的时刻到了。’

所以那弃绝这命令的，不是弃绝人，而是弃绝把他自己的圣灵赐给你们的那位神。
