Then Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah,“ How have I sinned against you or your servants or these people that you have put me in prison?

耶利米又对西底家王说：“我在什么事上得罪你，或你的臣仆，或这百姓，你竟将我囚在监里呢？

耶利米又对西底家王说：“我在什么事上得罪你，或你的臣仆，或这百姓，你们竟将我囚在监里呢？

耶利米又对西底家王说：“我在什么事上得罪你，或你的臣仆，或这百姓，你们竟将我囚在监里呢？

耶利米又问他：“我在什么事上得罪了你、你的臣仆或人民，以致你们把我囚在监牢中？

耶利米再对西底家王说：“我有什么得罪你，或你的臣仆，或这人民，你竟然把我送进监狱里呢？

耶利米又對西底家王說：「我在甚麼事上得罪你，或你的臣僕，或這百姓，你竟將我囚在監裏呢？

耶利米又對西底家王說：「我在甚麼事上得罪你，或你的臣僕，或這百姓，你們竟將我囚在監裏呢？

耶利米又對西底家王說：「我在甚麼事上得罪你，或你的臣僕，或這百姓，你們竟將我囚在監裏呢？

耶利米又問他：「我在什麼事上得罪了你、你的臣僕或人民，以致你們把我囚在監牢中？

耶利米再對西底家王說：“我有甚麼得罪你，或你的臣僕，或這人民，你竟然把我送進監獄裡呢？

耶利米又對西底家王說：『我有甚麼得罪了你，或你的臣僕，或這人民，你們竟把我下在監獄裏呢？

耶利米謂西底家王曰、我何所干罪於爾、或爾臣僕、或庶民、致幽我於獄耶、

耶利米又奏西底家王曰、我未嘗得罪於王臣百姓、下我於獄曷故、

耶利米又奏西底家王曰、爾曹囚我於獄、我於爾、爾臣僕斯民、得何罪耶、

Then Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah,“ What crime have I committed against you or your attendants or this people, that you have put me in prison?

Then Jeremiah continued,“ Why have you put me in prison? What crime have I committed against you? What have I done to your attendants or these people?

Jeremiah also said to King Zedekiah,“ What wrong have I done to you or your servants or this people, that you have put me in prison?

Then Jeremiah asked the king,“ What crime have I committed? What have I done against you, your attendants, or the people that I should be imprisoned like this?

Then Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah,“ How have I sinned against you or your servants or these people that you have put me in prison?

Moreover, Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah,“ In what way have I sinned against you, or your servants, or this people, that you have put me in prison?

Moreover Jeremiah said to King Zedekiah,“ What offense have I committed against you, against your servants, or against this people, that you have put me in prison?

Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, Wherein have I sinned against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison?

Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against thee, or against thy servants, or against this people, that ye have put me in prison?

Then Jeremiah asked King Zedekiah,“ What crime have I committed against you, or the officials who serve you, or the people of Judah? What have I done to make you people throw me into prison?

Moreover Jeremiah said to king Zedekiah,“ How have I sinned against you, against your servants, or against this people, that you have put me in prison?

Jesus replied,“ I have shown you many good works from the Father. Which of these works are you stoning Me for?”

while Paul made the defense that,“ Neither against the Jewish law, nor against the temple, nor against Caesar have I sinned at all.”

My God sent His angel and shut the lions’ mouths. They haven’t hurt me, for I was found innocent before Him. Also, I have not committed a crime against you my king.”

Now I realized that he had not done anything deserving of death, but when he himself appealed to the Emperor, I decided to send him.

If then I am doing wrong, or have done anything deserving of death, I do not refuse to die, but if there is nothing to what these men accuse me of, no one can give me up to them. I appeal to Caesar!”

It is certainly not good to fine an innocent person or to beat a noble for his honesty.

Paul looked intently at the Sanhedrin and said,“ Brothers, I have lived my life before God in all good conscience until this day.”

Then Jacob became incensed and brought charges against Laban.“ What is my crime?” he said to Laban.“ What is my sin, that you have pursued me?

and when they had left they talked with each other and said,“ This man is doing nothing that deserves death or chains.”

Then he continued,“ Why is my lord pursuing his servant? What have I done? What evil is in my hand?Now, may my lord the king please hear the words of his servant: If it is the Lord who has incited you against me, then may He accept an offering. But if it is people, may they be cursed in the presence of the Lord, for today they have driven me away from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord saying,‘ Go and worship other gods.’So don’t let my blood fall to the ground far from the Lord’s presence, for the king of Israel has come out to search for a flea, like one who pursues a partridge in the mountains.”Saul responded,“ I have sinned. Come back, my son David, I will never harm you again because today you considered my life precious. I have been a fool! I’ve committed a grave error.”

If anyone returns evil for good, evil will never depart from his house.

I always do my best to have a clear conscience toward God and men.

Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?

David said to Saul,“ Why do you listen to the words of people who say,‘ Look, David intends to harm you’?You can see with your own eyes that the Lord handed you over to me today in the cave. Someone advised me to kill you, but I took pity on you and said: I won’t lift my hand against my lord, since he is the Lord’s anointed.See, my father! Look at the corner of your robe in my hand, for I cut it off, but I didn’t kill you. Look and recognize that there is no evil or rebellion in me. I haven’t sinned against you even though you are hunting me down to take my life.“ May the Lord judge between you and me, and may the Lord take vengeance on you for me, but my hand will never be against you.As the old proverb says,‘ Wickedness comes from wicked people.’ My hand will never be against you.Who has the king of Israel come after? What are you chasing after? A dead dog? A flea?May the Lord be judge and decide between you and me. May He take notice and plead my case and deliver me from you.”

Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all the people of Judah put him to death? Did he not fear the Lord and plead for the Lord’s favor, and did not the Lord relent concerning the disaster He had pronounced against them? We are about to bring great harm on ourselves!”
