西底家召之出獄、令潛入其宮、問曰、耶和華有所命乎。耶利米曰、有、爾必解於巴比倫王手。

西底家王打发人提出他来，在自己的宫内私下问他说：“从耶和华有什么话临到没有？”耶利米说：“有！”又说：“你必交在巴比伦王手中。”

西底家王差人提他出来，在自己的宫内私下问他说：“有什么话从耶和华临到没有？”耶利米说：“有！”又说：“你必被交在巴比伦王手中。”

后来，西底家王派人去把他带出来；王在自己的宫中私下问他，说：“从耶和华那里有话来吗？”耶利米回答：“有！”又说：“你必交在巴比伦王的手中。”

西底家王遣人攜之出、王在宮潛問之曰、耶和華有言乎、耶利米曰、有、又曰、爾必付於巴比倫王之手、

Then King Zedekiah sent for him and had him brought to the palace, where he asked him privately,“ Is there any word from the Lord?”“ Yes,” Jeremiah replied,“ you will be delivered into the hands of the king of Babylon.”

Then King Zedekiah sent for him. King Zedekiah had Jeremiah brought to the palace. There the king spoke to him in private. The king asked,“ Do you have a message from the Lord for me?”“ Yes,” Jeremiah replied.“ You will be handed over to the king of Babylon.”

King Zedekiah sent for him and received him. The king questioned him secretly in his house and said,“ Is there any word from the Lord?” Jeremiah said,“ There is.” Then he said,“ You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.”

Later King Zedekiah secretly requested that Jeremiah come to the palace, where the king asked him,“ Do you have any messages from the Lord?”“ Yes, I do!” said Jeremiah.“ You will be defeated by the king of Babylon.”

King Zedekiah later sent for him and received him, and in his house privately asked him,“ Is there a word from the LORD?”“ There is,” Jeremiah responded. He continued,“ You will be handed over to the king of Babylon.”

Now King Zedekiah sent men and took him out; and in his palace the king secretly asked him and said,“ Is there a word from the Lord?” And Jeremiah said,“ There is!” Then he said,“ You will be handed over to the king of Babylon!”

then Zedekiah the king sent and took him out. The king asked him secretly in his house, and said,“ Is there any word from the Lord?” And Jeremiah said,“ There is.” Then he said,“ You shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon!”

Then Zedekiah the king sent, and fetched him: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from Jehovah? And Jeremiah said, There is. He said also, Thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

King Zedekiah later sent for him and received him, and in his house privately asked him,“ Is there a word from the Lord?”“ There is,” Jeremiah responded, and he continued,“ You will be handed over to the king of Babylon.”

Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there[ any] word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

Then King Zedekiah had him brought to the palace. There he questioned him privately and asked him,“ Is there any message from the LORD?” Jeremiah answered,“ Yes, there is.” Then he announced,“ You will be handed over to the king of Babylon.”

then Zedekiah the king sent, and had him brought out. The king asked him secretly in his house,“ Is there any word from Yahweh?” Jeremiah said,“ There is.” He also said,“ You will be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.”

耶和華曰、嗣後猶大王西底家、與邑中所遺之臣民、不戮於鋒刃、斃於瘟疫、死於饑饉者、我必付之於敵人、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、俾以鋒刃殺戮、不加矜恤。

王曰、我豈不屢使爾、奉耶和華命、當以真實告我乎。

西底家王遣示利米子猶甲、與祭司馬西雅子西番雅、至耶利米、請曰、我之上帝耶和華、爾其代予祈求。

西底家王謂耶利米曰、毋以斯言示人、則可不死。浸假牧伯聞王與爾言、來詰爾曰、爾所奏於王、王所語爾者、其言若何、明以告我、毋隱、則我不殺爾。爾可答之曰、我求王勿使我復入約拿單之室、恐死於彼。諸牧伯至耶利米所、問之。耶利米遵王所命而答、事竟不洩。

君將負荷、乘夜而出、鑿壁以遁、行必蒙面、不得見其地、我張網羅、罹之於中、曳至迦勒底之巴比倫、雖死於彼、亦不得見其地。

西底家王遣馬其亞子巴述、祭司馬西雅子西番雅、見耶利米而告之曰、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒攻我、爾為我禱耶和華、庶幾耶和華仍顯異跡、俾不攻予、時耶利米奉耶和華命、

西底家王曰、權操諸爾、王莫能禦焉。

耶羅破暗子亞庇雅遘疾、耶羅破暗告妻曰、爾起易服、使人不知爾乃我妻、可往示羅在彼有先知亞希雅、昔嘗告我、必為王治理斯民。爾攜饅首十、暨薄餅、與蜜一瓶、以見先知、俾其告爾、我子可得愈否。耶羅破暗妻遵言而行、遄征往示羅、至亞希雅家。亞希雅年已老邁、目眊不明。

西底家王遣人、召先知耶利米至耶和華殿第三院、詰之曰、我有一語問爾、必毋隱。耶利米奏西底家王曰、我告爾、爾必殺予、勸爾、爾必不聽。西底家王私誓、謂耶利米曰、我指賜我生命之耶和華而誓、必不殺爾、不付爾於敵手。

惟彼劣果、不堪適口、可比猶大王西底家、以及牧伯、耶路撒冷居民、斯土之遺眾、暨旅於埃及者。

耶和華曰、我必釋爾、雖罹災害、必使敵善待爾。

蓋耶利米曾曰、耶和華云、我將付此城於巴比倫王、使彼取之、猶大王西底家不能脫於迦勒底人手、必解至巴比倫王前、詰問研究、曳至巴比倫、居彼、待我耶和華眷顧之、爾曹雖戰巴比倫軍、必不獲利。西底家王聞之、怒其言不利、故下之於獄。

凡繼大闢為王、與斯邑之居民、未被俘囚者、萬有之主耶和華曾言之、曰、我必罰之、戮以鋒刃、降以饑饉、斃以疫癘、視若劣果、不堪適口。既以斯三者降罰其身、又必徙於天下萬邦、受人咒詛、不勝駭異、為人凌侮、時聞怨聲、

主耶和華又曰、彼藐視約言、而背我命、我指己而誓、必罰其罪、罹之以網羅、陷之以坎阱、曳至巴比倫、在彼降災、以罰其罪、彼及流亡之眾、爰及軍旅、必殞於刃、遺民星散、使知我耶和華已言之矣。

猶大王西底家及其牧伯、我必付之於敵手、殲滅其生命、巴比倫王之軍族、雖去爾而他往、我將命之復至、攻城而取之、焚之以火、使猶大諸邑荒蕪、無人居處。

約沙法曰、在此豈無耶和華之先知、容我問耶和華。以色列王之臣對曰、供以利亞盥手之役者、沙法子以利沙在此。約沙法曰、彼奉耶和華之命者歟。於是以色列王、及約沙法、與以東王、俱往見之。以利沙告以色列王曰、我與爾何與、爾父母亦有先知、可往問焉。以色列王曰、請毋言是、我知耶和華已集三王、付之與摩押人手。

蓋希律知約翰義且聖、有聞頻行、欣然聽受、尊而護之、

主耶和華曰、惟爾以色列族之君、爽約作惡、必罰其罪、時日已至、當去冠脫冕、不以斯人為王、使高者降為卑、卑者升為高、

巴比倫王在立拉、殺西底家之世子、使之目睹、猶大之家亦遭誅殛。抉西底家之目、繫以銅索、被逮於巴比倫、
