Baruch son of Neriah did everything Jeremiah the prophet told him to do; at the Lord’s temple he read the words of the Lord from the scroll.

Baruch, the son of Neriah, did everything Jeremiah the prophet told him to do. He went to the Lord’ s temple. There he read the words of the Lord from the scroll.

And Baruch the son of Neriah did all that Jeremiah the prophet ordered him about reading from the scroll the words of the Lord in the Lord’s house.

Baruch did as Jeremiah told him and read these messages from the Lord to the people at the Temple.

So Baruch son of Neriah did everything the prophet Jeremiah had commanded him. At the LORD’s temple he read the LORD’s words from the scroll.

于是耶稣对门徒说：“若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，背起自己的十字架来跟从我。

耶稣来到拿撒勒，就是他长大的地方。在安息日，照他素常的规矩进了会堂，站起来要念圣经。有人把以赛亚先知的书交给他，他就打开，找到一处写着：“主的灵在我身上，因为他用膏膏我，叫我传福音给贫穷的人；差遣我宣告：被掳的得释放，失明的得看见，受压迫的得自由，宣告上帝悦纳人的禧年。”于是他把书卷起来，交还给管理人，就坐下。会堂里的人都定睛看他。耶稣对他们说：“你们听见的这段经文，今天已经应验了。”众人都称赞他，并对他口中所出的恩言感到惊讶；他们说：“这不是约瑟的儿子吗？”耶稣对他们说：“你们一定会用这俗语向我说：‘医生，你医治自己吧！我们听见你在迦百农所做的事，也该在你自己的家乡做吧。’”他又说：“我实在告诉你们，没有先知在自己家乡被人接纳的。我对你们说实话，在以利亚的时候，天闭塞了三年六个月，遍地有大饥荒，那时，以色列中有许多寡妇，以利亚并没有奉差往她们中任何一个人那里去，只奉差往西顿的撒勒法一个寡妇那里去。在以利沙先知的时候，以色列中有许多麻风病人，但除了叙利亚的乃缦，没有一个得洁净的。”会堂里的人听见这些话，都怒气填胸，就起来赶他出城。他们的城造在山上；他们带他到山崖，要把他推下去。他却从他们中间穿过去，走了。

耶利米召了尼利亚的儿子巴录来；巴录就从耶利米口中，把耶和华对耶利米所说的一切话写在书卷上。

我靠主耶稣希望很快能差提摩太去见你们，好让我知道你们的事而心里得着安慰。因为我没有别人与我同心，真正关怀你们的事。其他的人都求自己的事，并不求耶稣基督的事。但你们知道提摩太是经得起考验的，他与我为了福音一同服侍，待我像儿子待父亲一样。

若是提摩太来到，你们要留心照顾他，使他在你们那里无所惧怕，因为他做主的工作像我一样。

他在水门前的广场，从清早到中午，在男女和能明白的人面前读这律法书，众百姓都侧耳而听。
