Baruch son of Neriah did everything Jeremiah the prophet told him to do; at the Lord’s temple he read the words of the Lord from the scroll.

Baruch, the son of Neriah, did everything Jeremiah the prophet told him to do. He went to the Lord’ s temple. There he read the words of the Lord from the scroll.

And Baruch the son of Neriah did all that Jeremiah the prophet ordered him about reading from the scroll the words of the Lord in the Lord’s house.

Baruch did as Jeremiah told him and read these messages from the Lord to the people at the Temple.

So Baruch son of Neriah did everything the prophet Jeremiah had commanded him. At the LORD’s temple he read the LORD’s words from the scroll.

So Baruch the son of Neriah acted in accordance with all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading from the book the words of the Lord in the Lord’s house.

因此你，你務要束腰，站立起來，將我所吩咐你的一切話告訴他們；不要因他們而驚慌，免得我使你在他們面前膽怯。

於是耶穌對門徒說：『人若想要跟着我，就當棄絕自己，拿起他的十字架來跟從我。

耶穌來到拿撒勒、他長大的地方，照他素常所行的在安息之日進了會堂，站起來要宣讀。有人把神言人以賽亞的書卷遞給他；他把書卷打開，找到一個地方、寫着說：『主的靈在我身上，因為他膏立了我去傳好消息給窮人，差遣了我去宣傳俘虜們可得釋放，瞎眼的可得看見，打發那受壓迫的得釋放，宣傳主接納人的年頭。』他把書捲起來，交還當差的，就坐下；會堂裏眾人的眼都瞪着他。耶穌開始對他們說：『今天這一段經所說的應驗在你們耳中了。』眾人都證說他好，希奇他口中所出恩惠的話。他們說：『這個人不是約瑟的兒子麼？』耶穌對他們說：『你們一定會引這句俗語對我說：「醫生啊，治好你自己吧！」「凡我們聽見你在迦伯農所行的事，你也該在這裏、在你的家鄉行啊！」』他就說：『我實在告訴你們，沒有神言人在自己家鄉受接納的。我憑事實告訴你們，當以利亞的日子、以色列中有許多寡婦；那時天閉塞了三年零六個月，遍地大饑荒；以利亞並沒有奉差去找他們一個人，只找西頓的撒勒法一個守寡的婦人。當神言人以利沙的時候，以色列中有許多患痲瘋屬之病的；而其中、除了敍利亞的乃縵、沒有一個得潔淨的。』會堂裏的眾人聽了這話，都滿心暴怒，就起來，攆他出城，帶他到山崖上（他們的城是建在山上的），要把他推下去。他卻從他們中間過去，逕自走他的路去了。

於是耶利米把尼利亞的兒子巴錄叫來；巴錄就由耶利米口傳將永恆主的一切話、就是他對耶利米所說的、都寫在書卷上。

但我在主耶穌裏盼望趕快打發提摩太到你們那裏去，讓我知道了你們的事，就精神振作。因為我這裏沒有別的知己、真真掛念你們事的那樣人；因為眾人都謀求着自己的事，不謀求基督耶穌的事。但提摩太被試驗的品德你們是知道的：知道他為着福音做了僕役，同我在一起、就像孩子同父親一樣。

若是提摩太來到了，你們要留心、讓他在你們那裏毫無懼怕，因為他勞力作主的工、像我一樣。

他在水門前的廣場前面、從天亮到中午、在男女和能明白的人面前一直誦讀；眾民都側耳傾聽這律法書。
