Baruch son of Neriah did everything Jeremiah the prophet told him to do; at the Lord’s temple he read the words of the Lord from the scroll.

Baruch, the son of Neriah, did everything Jeremiah the prophet told him to do. He went to the Lord’ s temple. There he read the words of the Lord from the scroll.

And Baruch the son of Neriah did all that Jeremiah the prophet ordered him about reading from the scroll the words of the Lord in the Lord’s house.

Baruch did as Jeremiah told him and read these messages from the Lord to the people at the Temple.

So Baruch son of Neriah did everything the prophet Jeremiah had commanded him. At the LORD’s temple he read the LORD’s words from the scroll.

至拿撒勒、即其長育之區、於安息日、循其規入會堂、立而誦讀、或以先知以賽亞書予之、開卷見所載云、主之神偕我矣、蓋彼膏我、以宣福音於貧者、遣我宣告、虜者得釋、瞽者得明、受挫折者得自由、宣揚主悅納之年也、耶穌掩卷、反於役者而坐、會堂眾人注目視之、耶穌謂之曰、是經今日應於爾耳矣、眾證之、且奇其口出恩言、曰、此非約瑟子乎、耶穌曰、爾必引斯諺語我云、醫當自醫、我聞爾行之於迦百農者、亦當行之於故土、又曰、我誠語汝、未有先知見重於故土者、我誠語汝、當以利亞時、天閉塞三年有六月、徧地大饑、以色列中多嫠、以利亞未奉遣往見一人、惟往見西頓撒勒法之一嫠、先知以利沙時、以色列中多癩者、無一得潔、惟敍利亞之乃幔而已、在會堂者聞之、皆怒甚、起而逐之邑外、其邑建於山、曳之至崖、欲投之下、耶穌經行眾中而去、○

耶利米遂召尼利亞子巴錄至、巴錄以耶利米口傳耶和華所諭之言、書之於卷、

我緣主耶穌冀速遣提摩太就爾、俾知爾事、而慰我心、蓋我無同心之人、誠慮爾事、因眾惟己是謀、非耶穌基督之事也、爾知提摩太之徵驗、即與我共役於福音、猶子之於父、

若提摩太至、爾宜顧之、俾其無懼、蓋彼務主工如我然、

自朝至於日中、在水門前之場、對諸男女凡能明者誦之、民皆傾耳而聽、
