Therefore go thou, and read in the roll, which thou hast written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD’S house upon the fasting day: and also thou shalt read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.

爾往、以我口所傳、爾所書於卷之耶和華言、在耶和華室、於禁食之期誦之、俾民聞之、亦使自猶大諸邑而來之人聞之、

禁食之日、猶大國人自眾邑、詣耶和華殿、爾當以我所傳耶和華之命、書之於卷者、誦於民前。

禁食之日、民詣主之殿、爾往以爾循我口傳所書於卷之主言、讀於耶路撒冷民前、亦讀於自各邑詣主殿之猶大人前、

So you go to the house of the Lord on a day of fasting and read to the people from the scroll the words of the Lord that you wrote as I dictated. Read them to all the people of Judah who come in from their towns.

So you go there. Go on a day when the people are fasting. Read to them from the scroll. Read the words of the Lord you wrote down as I gave them to you. Read them to all the people of Judah who come in from their towns.

so you are to go, and on a day of fasting in the hearing of all the people in the Lord’s house you shall read the words of the Lord from the scroll that you have written at my dictation. You shall read them also in the hearing of all the men of Judah who come out of their cities.

So you go to the Temple on the next day of fasting, and read the messages from the Lord that I have had you write on this scroll. Read them so the people who are there from all over Judah will hear them.

so you must go and read from the scroll— which you wrote at my dictation— the words of the LORD in the hearing of the people at the temple of the LORD on a day of fasting. Read his words in the hearing of all the Judeans who are coming from their cities.

So you go and read from the scroll, which you have written at my dictation, the words of the Lord to the people at the Lord’s house on a day of fasting. And you shall also read them to all the people of Judah who come from their cities.

You go, therefore, and read from the scroll which you have written at my instruction, the words of the Lord, in the hearing of the people in the LORD’s house on the day of fasting. And you shall also read them in the hearing of all Judah who come from their cities.

So you go there the next time all the people of Judah come in from their towns to fast in the LORD’s temple. Read out loud where all of them can hear you what I told you the LORD said, which you wrote in the scroll.

Therefore you go, and read from the scroll which you have written from my mouth, Yahweh’s words, in the ears of the people in Yahweh’s house on the fast day. Also you shall read them in the ears of all Judah who come out of their cities.

And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD’S house.And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month,[ that] they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.

And he said unto me, Son of man, I send thee to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that hath rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me,[ even] unto this very day.For[ they are] impudent children and stiffhearted. I do send thee unto them; and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD.And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear,( for they[ are] a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there hath been a prophet among them.And thou, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns[ be] with thee, and thou dost dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they[ be] a rebellious house.And thou shalt speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they[ are] most rebellious.

Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished[ them],

Then came Jeremiah from Tophet, whither the LORD had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the LORD’S house; and said to all the people,

And[ this] shall be a statute for ever unto you:[ that] in the seventh month, on the tenth[ day] of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all,[ whether it be] one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourneth among you:For on that day shall[ the priest] make an atonement for you, to cleanse you,[ that] ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.It[ shall be] a sabbath of rest unto you, and ye shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.

And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sittest upon the throne of David, thou, and thy servants, and thy people that enter in by these gates:

Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return ye now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.

Also on the tenth[ day] of this seventh month[ there shall be] a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD.And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it[ is] a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the LORD your God.For whatsoever soul[ it be] that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.And whatsoever soul[ it be] that doeth any work in that same day, the same soul will I destroy from among his people.Ye shall do no manner of work:[ it shall be] a statute for ever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.It[ shall be] unto you a sabbath of rest, and ye shall afflict your souls: in the ninth[ day] of the month at even, from even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath.

Stand in the gate of the LORD’S house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the LORD, all[ ye of] Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the LORD.

Thus saith the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD’S house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD’S house, all the words that I command thee to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
