So Jeremiah called Baruch son of Neriah, and while Jeremiah dictated all the words the Lord had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them on the scroll.

So Jeremiah sent for Baruch, the son of Neriah. Jeremiah told him to write down all the words the Lord had spoken to him. And Baruch wrote them on the scroll.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord that he had spoken to him.

So Jeremiah sent for Baruch son of Neriah, and as Jeremiah dictated all the prophecies that the Lord had given him, Baruch wrote them on a scroll.

So Jeremiah summoned Baruch son of Neriah. At Jeremiah’s dictation, Baruch wrote on a scroll all the words the LORD had spoken to Jeremiah.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord which He had spoken to him.

當着我叔叔的兒子哈拿篾眼前，當着那些在契券上簽名畫押做見證人的、和那些坐在護衛監院子的一切猶大人眼前、把買了的契券交給瑪西雅的孫子尼利亞的兒子巴錄。

於是耶利米另取了一卷，交給尼利亞的兒子祕書巴錄，巴錄就由耶利米口傳將猶大王約雅敬所燒於火中的書上一切話、都寫在那上頭，還把許多類似的話加在裏面。

我看了看，只見有一隻手向我面前伸來，手中還有一卷書卷。

只是尼利亞的兒子巴錄挑唆了你來害我們，要將我們交於迦勒底人手中，使他們得以殺死我們，使我們流亡到巴比倫去罷了。』

永恆主對我說：『你拿一個大牌，用人通行的筆法寫上「擄搶快到」這幾個字。』

『你再另取一卷，將前卷上先前的一切話、就是猶大王約雅敬所燒了的、都寫在那上頭。

（我、代筆寫信的德丟、在主裏面給你們問安。）

我又舉目觀看，見有一卷書飛行着。

他們問巴錄說：『請告訴我們，你是怎樣寫了這一切話的？是由他口傳的麼？』巴錄對他們說：『他親口將這一切話念給我聽，我就用筆墨寫在書上。』

猶底念了三四欄，王就用祕書的刀將卷頁割掉，扔在火盆中的火裏，直到全卷都在火盆中的火裏燒盡了。

王竟吩咐王子耶拉篾、亞次列的兒子西萊雅、和亞伯疊的兒子示利米雅去捉拿祕書巴錄和神言人耶利米；然而永恆主卻將他們隱藏着。

神言人耶利米對尼利亞的兒子巴錄所說的話、是猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬四年、巴錄由耶利米口傳將這些話寫在書上時所聽到的；他說：『巴錄啊，永恆主以色列之上帝對你這麼說：

王就打發了猶底去把書卷拿來；猶底便從祕書以利沙瑪的廂房裏取來；猶底念給王聽，也給侍立在王左右的眾首領聽。
