So Jeremiah called Baruch son of Neriah, and while Jeremiah dictated all the words the Lord had spoken to him, Baruch wrote them on the scroll.

So Jeremiah sent for Baruch, the son of Neriah. Jeremiah told him to write down all the words the Lord had spoken to him. And Baruch wrote them on the scroll.

Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah, and Baruch wrote on a scroll at the dictation of Jeremiah all the words of the Lord that he had spoken to him.

So Jeremiah sent for Baruch son of Neriah, and as Jeremiah dictated all the prophecies that the Lord had given him, Baruch wrote them on a scroll.

So Jeremiah summoned Baruch son of Neriah. At Jeremiah’s dictation, Baruch wrote on a scroll all the words the LORD had spoken to Jeremiah.

當著我叔叔的兒子哈拿篾眼前，當著那些在買賣契約上簽名作證的人眼前，以及當著所有坐在衛兵院子裡的猶大人眼前，我把買賣契約交給了瑪西雅的孫子、尼利亞的兒子巴錄。

於是耶利米取了另一卷書卷，交給尼利亞的兒子文士巴錄；巴錄就從耶利米的口中，把猶大王約雅敬在火中燒掉的那書上的一切話，都寫在書卷上，還加上很多類似的話。

我觀看，看見一隻手向我伸過來，手中有一卷書卷。

只是尼利亞的兒子巴錄慫恿你來反對我們，為要把我們交在迦勒底人的手中，好使我們被殺害，或被擄到巴比倫去。”

耶和華對我說：“你拿一塊大版，用通用的文字寫上‘瑪黑珥．沙拉勒．哈施．罷斯’（“瑪黑珥．沙拉勒．哈施．罷斯”意即“趕快擄掠，急速奪取”）。

“你再取一書卷來，把猶大王約雅敬燒掉的前一書卷裡原來的一切話，都寫在書卷上面。

我又舉目觀看，看見有一卷飛行的書卷。

他們向巴錄說：“請告訴我們，你怎樣寫下這一切話，是耶利米親口說的嗎？”巴錄對他們說：“這一切話是他親口向我講述的，我就用墨寫在書上。”

每逢猶底宣讀完三四段，王就用書記的小刀把書割破，丟進盆中的火裡，直到全卷都在盆中的火裡燒盡了。

更吩咐王子耶拉篾、亞次列的兒子西萊雅和亞伯疊的兒子示利米雅，去捉拿文士巴錄和耶利米先知；但耶和華把他們隱藏起來。

以下是猶大王約西亞的兒子約雅敬第四年，耶利米先知對尼利亞的兒子巴錄所說的話（巴錄從耶利米口中把這些話寫在書卷上）：“巴錄啊！耶和華以色列的神這樣說：

於是王差派猶底去把書卷拿來；猶底就從書記以利沙瑪的房間裡把書卷取來，向王和所有侍立在王左右的領袖宣讀。
