故爾人子、必預為備、將行遷徙、當在晝時、俾違逆者目睹、庶或思而悔之。

汝宜悔改反正、俾罪得抹、則主賜爾安舒之日至、

庶幾聽從、改其惡行、我欲降災、以罰其罪、止而不行。

耶和華震怒、言欲降災於斯民、庶幾斯民悛改惡行、求耶和華恩焉。

爾將旋歸、服事耶和華、遵我今日所傳之命。

撒母耳告以色列眾曰、如爾盡心歸耶和華、則他上帝及亞大綠、必絕於爾中、當備爾心、獨事耶和華、則彼援爾於非利士人手。

今爾當告猶大及耶路撒冷居民、云、耶和華曰、予有定命、欲降災於爾、爾眾速當改惡從善。

我數遣僕先知、告爾云、當改爾惡行、革爾非心、勿崇事他上帝、則可於我賜爾祖及爾之地、安居無虞。然爾不傾耳以聽。

故彼目視而不明、耳聞而不悟、不克遷改而得罪赦、

我言惡人必死、如彼悛改、惟善是行。受人質則反之、盜人物則償之、不復為惡、遵我法度、以望得生、則生命可保、死所不臨。不復念其舊惡、因彼眾善奉行、則必獲生。

園主曰、我將奈何、不如遣愛子、庶幾見而敬之、

蓋此民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視、耳聽、心悟、遷改而我醫之焉、

乃先於大馬色、次於耶路撒冷、舉猶太地、爰及異邦、我告人悔改、歸上帝、而行事以彰悔改、

如惡人悛改素行、孳孳為義、則可得生、因其思慮、悛改厥惡、則保其生、不就死地。

主既言矣、必不遲行、人視主為濡滯、主實寛我、欲人悔改、不欲人沉淪、

一心一意、歸向乎爾、望爾所賜列祖之故土、及爾所簡之邑垣、與我所建之殿、為籲名之所、祈求於爾、則爾在天、居於明宮、俯聞所祈、俾其得救、赦其罪愆。

先知曰、耶和華離民不遠、將加眷顧、爾當乘時祈求。作惡者流、當改其行、寢其謀、歸誠耶和華我之上帝、蓋彼矜恤為懷、必赦宥之。

我必賦以善心、俾知我乃耶和華、一心歸誠、彼為我選民、我為其上帝。

主耶和華曰、維彼惡人、自取死亡、豈我所悅、我豈不以悛改得生為悅乎。

一心一意、歸向乎爾、望爾所錫列祖之故土、及爾所簡之邑垣、與我所建之殿、為籲名之所、祈求於爾、則爾在天、居於明宮、俯聞厥祈、俾其得救。爾民犯罪於爾、爾其赦宥、使虜之者施其矜憫、

願其常存此心畏我、恆守我誡命、永能受福、爰及子孫。

約翰見𠵽唎㘔［口撒］吐𡀲人、多就己受洗、謂之曰、蝮類乎、誰示爾避後日之刑乎、故當結果、以彰悔改、勿自以為亞伯拉罕吾祖也、吾語爾、上帝能使此石為亞伯拉罕子孫焉、

逆理者、迪以柔和、庶上帝錫以悛心、俾識真理、雖罹魔鬼之網、為其所惑、致逞厥志、亦可儆醒以得救、

俾明厥目、轉暗為光、離撒但勢、歸於上帝、使眾信我、可得罪赦、同獲聖徒之業、

斯土之民、謙卑遜順、守我法度、當祈求我、專務仁義、撝謙不已、則我耶和華降災之日、庶可得免。

爾諭僕摩西云、若民犯罪、必散於列邦、如其翻然悔改、遵我誡命、雖被逐至天涯、我必由彼安集之、使復歸所簡之地、為籲我名之所、請爾毋忘斯言焉、

俱必衣麻、懇籲上帝、眾當去惡、勿虐人民、庶幾上帝或回厥志、而息其怒、使我不亡。於是眾民、咸去舊惡、上帝鑒察之、乃回厥志、災不果降。

任斯民心頑、耳聾、目瞶、免其目視耳聽心悟、遷改而得醫焉、

眾出受洗、約翰曰、蝮類乎、誰示爾避後日之刑乎、故當結果、以彰悔改、勿自以為亞伯拉罕我祖也、吾語汝、上帝能起此石、為亞伯拉罕子孫焉、今斧置樹根、凡樹不結善果者、則斫之委火、
