It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.

Therefore, thou son of man, prepare thee stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and thou shalt remove from thy place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they[ be] a rebellious house.

Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;

If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.

And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;[ If] the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence[ him] when they see him.

But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and[ then] to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do works meet for repentance.

Again, when the wicked[ man] turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

If they return to thee with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their captivity, whither they have carried them captives, and pray toward their land, which thou gavest unto their fathers, and[ toward] the city which thou hast chosen, and toward the house which I have built for thy name:Then hear thou from the heavens,[ even] from thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive thy people which have sinned against thee.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

And I will give them an heart to know me, that I[ am] the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD:[ and] not that he should return from his ways, and live?

O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to[ our] father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;And[ that] they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

To open their eyes,[ and] to turn[ them] from darkness to light, and[ from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.

But[ if] ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven,[ yet] will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

But let man and beast be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily unto God: yea, let them turn every one from his evil way, and from the violence that[ is] in their hands.Who can tell[ if] God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not?And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did[ it] not.

Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to[ our] father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
