A large mob, with swords and clubs, was with him from the chief priests and elders of the people.His betrayer had given them a sign:“ The One I kiss, He’s the One; arrest Him!”So he went right up to Jesus and said,“ Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.“ Friend,” Jesus asked him,“ why have you come?” Then they came up, took hold of Jesus, and arrested Him.

You are my hiding place; You protect me from trouble. You surround me with joyful shouts of deliverance. Selah

The chief priests and the Pharisees had given orders that if anyone knew where He was, he should report it so they could arrest Him.

He spoke these words by the treasury, while teaching in the temple complex. But no one seized Him, because His hour had not come.

The officials said to Baruch,“ You and Jeremiah must hide yourselves and tell no one where you are.”

At that, they picked up stones to throw at Him. But Jesus was hidden and went out of the temple complex.

Then when I go report to Ahab and he doesn’t find you, he will kill me. But I, your servant, have feared the Lord from my youth.

They will fight against you but never prevail over you, since I am with you to rescue you.” This is the Lord’s declaration.

When the Arameans came against him, Elisha prayed to the Lord,“ Please strike this nation with blindness.” So He struck them with blindness, according to Elisha’s word.Then Elisha said to them,“ This is not the way, and this is not the city. Follow me, and I will take you to the man you’re looking for.” And he led them to Samaria.When they entered Samaria, Elisha said,“ Lord, open these men’s eyes and let them see.” So the Lord opened their eyes. They looked and discovered they were in Samaria.
