又問巴錄曰、爾若何由其口而書此言、請以告我、

又詰之云、爾所書之言、果彼所述否、明以告我。

Then they asked Baruch,“ Tell us, how did you come to write all this? Did Jeremiah dictate it?”

Then they asked Baruch,“ How did you come to write all these words? Do they actually come from Jeremiah’s mouth?”

They asked Baruch, saying,“ Tell us now, how did you write all these words at his mouth?”

So the Pharisees also asked him how he was able to see.“ He put mud on my eyes,” the man replied.“ Then I washed. And now I can see.”

“ Then how were your eyes opened?” they asked.He replied,“ The man they call Jesus made some mud and put it on my eyes. He told me to go to Siloam and wash. So I went and washed. Then I could see.”

Then they asked him,“ What did he do to you? How did he open your eyes?”He answered,“ I have already told you. But you didn’t listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you want to become his disciples too?”
