“ This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, says: Go and say to the people in Judah and Jerusalem,‘ Come and learn a lesson about how to obey me.

“万军之耶和华以色列的神如此说：你去对犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民说：‘耶和华说：你们不受教训，不听从我的话吗？

“万军之耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：你去对犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民说，你们不肯领受训诲，听从我的话吗？这是耶和华说的。

“万军之耶和华—以色列的神如此说：你去对犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民说，你们不肯领受训诲，听从我的话吗？这是耶和华说的。

“这是以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华的话，你去把我的话告诉犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民，‘耶和华说，你们要听从我的教导。

“万军之耶和华以色列的神这样说：你去对犹大人和耶路撒冷的居民说：‘你们不接受管教，不听我的话吗？’这是耶和华的宣告。

「萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你去對猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民說，耶和華說：你們不受教訓，不聽從我的話嗎？

「萬軍之耶和華－以色列的上帝如此說：你去對猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民說，你們不肯領受訓誨，聽從我的話嗎？這是耶和華說的。

「萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你去對猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民說，你們不肯領受訓誨，聽從我的話嗎？這是耶和華說的。

「這是以色列的上帝——萬軍之耶和華的話，你去把我的話告訴猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民，『耶和華說，你們要聽從我的教導。

“萬軍之耶和華以色列的神這樣說：你去對猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民說：‘你們不接受管教，不聽我的話嗎？’這是耶和華的宣告。

『萬軍之永恆主以色列之上帝這麼說：你去對猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民說：永恆主發神諭說：你們不接受管教，不聽我的話麼？

萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、往告猶大人、暨耶路撒冷居民曰、耶和華云、爾不受教、不聽我言乎、

萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、爾往告猶大人、及耶路撒冷居民云、主曰、何不受警教、聽我言乎、

“ This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Go and tell the people of Judah and those living in Jerusalem,‘ Will you not learn a lesson and obey my words?’ declares the Lord.

“ The Lord who rules over all is the God of Israel. He says,‘ Go. Speak to the people of Judah and Jerusalem. Tell them,“ Won’t you ever learn a lesson? Won’t you ever obey my words?” announces the Lord.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: Go and say to the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction and listen to my words? declares the Lord.

“ This is what the LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says: Go, say to the men of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem,‘ Will you not accept discipline by listening to my words?— this is the LORD’s declaration.

“ This is what the Lord of armies, the God of Israel says:‘ Go and say to the people of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem,“ Will you not accept instruction by listening to My words?” declares the Lord.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel:‘ Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem,“ Will you not receive instruction to obey My words?” says the Lord.

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: Go, and say to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith Jehovah.

“ This is what the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel, says: Go, say to the men of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem: Will you not accept discipline by listening to My words?”— this is the Lord’s declaration.

Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD.

The LORD God of Israel who rules over all told him,“ Go and speak to the people of Judah and the citizens of Jerusalem. Tell them,‘ I, the LORD, say:“ You must learn a lesson from this about obeying what I say!

“ Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says:‘ Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem,“ Will you not receive instruction to listen to my words?” says Yahweh.

My people have turned their backs on me and have refused to return. Even though I diligently taught them, they would not receive instruction or obey.

Lord, you are searching for honesty. You struck your people, but they paid no attention. You crushed them, but they refused to be corrected. They are determined, with faces set like stone; they have refused to repent.

Listen to this warning, Jerusalem, or I will turn from you in disgust. Listen, or I will turn you into a heap of ruins, a land where no one lives.”This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says:“ Even the few who remain in Israel will be picked over again, as when a harvester checks each vine a second time to pick the grapes that were missed.”To whom can I give warning? Who will listen when I speak? Their ears are closed, and they cannot hear. They scorn the word of the Lord. They don’t want to listen at all.

“ Who does the Lord think we are?” they ask.“ Why does he speak to us like this? Are we little children, just recently weaned?He tells us everything over and over— one line at a time, one line at a time, a little here, and a little there!”So now God will have to speak to his people through foreign oppressors who speak a strange language!God has told his people,“ Here is a place of rest; let the weary rest here. This is a place of quiet rest.” But they would not listen.

Be careful that you do not refuse to listen to the One who is speaking. For if the people of Israel did not escape when they refused to listen to Moses, the earthly messenger, we will certainly not escape if we reject the One who speaks to us from heaven!

The Lord says,“ I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.Do not be like a senseless horse or mule that needs a bit and bridle to keep it under control.”

Get all the advice and instruction you can, so you will be wise the rest of your life.

Choose my instruction rather than silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold.

Who is wise enough to understand all this? Who has been instructed by the Lord and can explain it to others? Why has the land been so ruined that no one dares to travel through it?

Who will hear these lessons from the past and see the ruin that awaits you in the future?
