You will not escape from his grasp but will surely be captured and given into his hands. You will see the king of Babylon with your own eyes, and he will speak with you face to face. And you will go to Babylon.

You will not escape from his power. You will certainly be captured. You will be handed over to him. You will see the king of Babylon with your own eyes. He will speak with you face to face. And you will go to Babylon.

You shall not escape from his hand but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. You shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face. And you shall go to Babylon.’

主曰、斯後我必以猶大王西底家、與其諸臣眾軍、及在斯邑中、遭瘟疫鋒刃饑饉、所遺之人、悉付於巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、其敵之手、索其命者之手、巴比倫王必擊之以刃、不惜之、不憐憫、不矜恤、

於是城破、王與諸戰士、由近王園兩城中之門、夜逃遁、迦勒底人在城四圍、王由平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、迦勒底軍追王、在耶利歌平原及之、王之眾軍、離之四散、迦勒底人執王、解至利比拉、巴比倫王前、遂審鞫之、乃屠戮西底家諸子於西底家目前、抉西底家之二目、繫以銅索、攜至巴比倫、

猶大王西底家、及其牧伯、我必付於敵人與索其命者之手、即巴比倫王軍旅之手、主曰、其軍雖離爾而去、我必命之復來此邑、攻而取之、焚之以火、我必使猶大諸邑荒蕪、無人居處、

猶大王西底家與諸戰士見之、夜間逃遁、由王園之道、由兩城中之門出城、望平原平原或作亞拉巴下同而走、迦勒底軍旅追之、在耶利歌平原追及西底家、執之、解至哈末地之利比拉、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒前、遂審鞫之、巴比倫王在利比拉、屠戮西底家諸子於西底家目前、亦屠戮猶大之諸顯者、抉西底家之兩目、繫以銅索、欲攜至巴比倫、

如爾不出邑見巴比倫王之將帥、斯邑必付於迦勒底人之手、必焚之以火、爾亦不能脫於其手、

彼立約立約原文作施手以成約之後、輕誓背約、既行此諸事、必不得免難、主天主曰、我指己永生而誓、彼所輕之誓、即向我而發、所背之約、即與我而立、我必加報其身、身原文作首為之張網、使陷於我之羅、攜至巴比倫、在彼必罰之、必罰之或作必審鞫之因其獲罪於我、獲罪於我或作背叛我

惟爾以色列之君、褻慢作惡、爾之罪愆貫盈、受報之日已至、

西底家遣人取之出獄、令潛入其宮、問之曰、爾自主得有默示否、耶利米曰、有、又曰、爾必見付於巴比倫王手、

我為彼張我網、使陷我罟、攜至迦勒底之巴比倫、然不得見其地、亦必死於彼、
