爾必不得免、為人所執、解至巴比倫王前、詰問研究、被逮至巴比倫、

爾不得脫其手、必為人所執、付於巴比倫王手、而鞫詰問、面鞫詰問原文作爾之目將見巴比倫王之目其口將與爾口言爾必至巴比倫、

You will not escape from his grasp but will surely be captured and given into his hands. You will see the king of Babylon with your own eyes, and he will speak with you face to face. And you will go to Babylon.

You will not escape from his power. You will certainly be captured. You will be handed over to him. You will see the king of Babylon with your own eyes. He will speak with you face to face. And you will go to Babylon.

You shall not escape from his hand but shall surely be captured and delivered into his hand. You shall see the king of Babylon eye to eye and speak with him face to face. And you shall go to Babylon.’

犹大王西底家必不能逃脱迦勒底人的手，他必交在巴比伦王的手中；他们必面对面彼此说话，眼对眼互相对看。

然后，我必把犹大王西底家和他的臣民，就是在这城里经过瘟疫、刀剑之灾和饥荒而幸存的人，都交在巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒和他们的仇敌，以及寻索他们性命的人的手中。尼布甲尼撒要用刀剑击杀他们，绝不顾惜，不留情，不怜悯。’”这是耶和华的宣告。

城终于被攻破了，所有的战士就在夜间从靠近王的花园的两墙中间的那门，逃跑出城。那时迦勒底人在四围攻城；他们就往亚拉巴的方向逃走。迦勒底人的军队追赶王，在耶利哥的原野上把他追上了；他的全军都离开他四散了。他们把王擒住，把他解到利比拉巴比伦王那里；他们就宣判他的罪。他们又在西底家眼前杀了他的众子，并且把西底家的眼睛弄瞎，然后用铜链锁住他，把他带到巴比伦去。

我也必把犹大王西底家和众领袖交在他们仇敌的手中，和那些寻索他们性命的人的手中，以及那些从你们面前暂时撤退的巴比伦王的军队的手中。

犹大王西底家和所有的军兵看见了他们，就逃跑，在夜间逃出城外，经过王的花园，穿过两道城墙中间的门，直往亚拉巴的路上走去。但迦勒底人的军队追赶他们，在耶利哥的原野上追上了西底家，把他拿住，带到哈马地的利比拉去见巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒；尼布甲尼撒就宣判他的罪状。巴比伦王在利比拉，当着西底家眼前杀了他的众子；巴比伦王也杀了犹大所有的显贵，并且把西底家的眼睛弄瞎了，用铜链锁住他，把他带到巴比伦去。

但你若不出去归降巴比伦王的将领，这城就必交在迦勒底人的手中；他们必放火烧毁这城，你自己也不能从他们的手里逃脱。’”

他藐视誓言，背弃条约；他已宣誓效忠，却又行了这一切事，所以他必不能逃脱。因此主耶和华这样说：我指着我的永生起誓：他既然藐视我的誓言，背弃我的约，我必使这罪归到他的头上。我要把我的网撒在他身上，他必在我的网罗中被捕获；我要把他带到巴比伦去，并且要在那里因他对我不忠的罪审判他。

你这该死、邪恶的以色列王啊！你的日子到了，最后惩罚的时刻到了。’

后来，西底家王派人去把他带出来；王在自己的宫中私下问他，说：“从耶和华那里有话来吗？”耶利米回答：“有！”又说：“你必交在巴比伦王的手中。”

我要把我的网撒在他身上，他必被我的网罗网住；我要把他带到巴比伦，就是迦勒底人之地；他不会看见那地，却要死在那里。
