But now you have turned around and profaned my name; each of you has taken back the male and female slaves you had set free to go where they wished. You have forced them to become your slaves again.

But then you turned right around and showed that you did not honor me. Each of you took back your male and female slaves whom you had freed as they desired, and you forced them to be your slaves again.

but you turned and profaned my name, and every man caused his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom you had let go free at their pleasure, to return. You brought them into subjection, to be to you for servants and for handmaids.’”

指我而誓勿妄、勿瀆爾上帝之名、我耶和華所命如此。

爾上帝耶和華之名勿妄稱、妄稱者罪無赦。

既而悔所釋之僕婢、仍使服事、

如善人去善就惡、行諸不義、我所痛疾者、豈得保生乎、其所行之善、不復追憶、既犯罪作惡、必使之亡。

如義人棄善作惡、我任其陷罪、至於死亡、彼所為之善不復繫念、死於罪戾、爾既不示之、我亦必罰爾。

掃羅違我、不遵我命、昔立之為王、今則悔焉。撒母耳甚憂、終夜禱耶和華。

其臣出、遇同僚、負十金、執之、扼其吭曰、爾所負者、當償我、同僚俯伏求曰、請寛我、我將盡償、弗許、下之獄、責償所負、諸同僚見之、憂甚、以其事赴愬於主、主召之曰、惡哉臣也、爾所負求我、我則免之、不當矜恤同僚、亦猶我矜恤爾乎、由是主怒、交之獄吏、責償所負、

我耶和華指己而誓、王子既為巴比倫王所立、藐視其主、爽其盟約、則必至巴比倫而沒、敵既築壘建營、欲滅邑眾、法老雖率旅眾多、以助其戰、亦必不利、蓋王子於立約之後、不以盟誓為重、而爽其約、故不能免難。主耶和華又曰、彼藐視約言、而背我命、我指己而誓、必罰其罪、

遺磽地者、猶人聽而喜受其道、惟無根、則暫信耳、遇患難、遂背之、遺棘中者、猶人聽道而往、為此生之憧擾、貨財、宴樂所蔽、而不實、遺沃壤者、猶人以善良之心聽道、守以恆忍、而結實矣、○

主耶和華曰、爾曹以色列族、今而後有不從我命者、我聽其崇奉偶像、然不許爾既奉偶像、復獻禮物于我、瀆玩我聖名。

惟爾屢言耶和華之几、已玷厥污、其饌菲薄、則瀆我名、

人子、當告民云、如善人陷罪、不因前善而獲救、惡人悛改、不因舊惡而殞亡、我言善人必生、如彼自恃其善、陷罪觸法、則其前善、必不復憶、因其作惡、必置之死、

爾以不潔之餅、奉於我壇、以我耶和華之兒、為可藐視、猶言曰、何嘗凌辱爾乎、

我將使我民以色列族、知我聖名、不復玩瀆、使異邦人、皆知我乃以色列族之聖主耶和華、
