“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. I said,

The Lord is the God of Israel. He says,“ I made a covenant with your people of long ago. I brought them out of Egypt. That is the land where they were slaves. I said,

“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: I myself made a covenant with your fathers when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery, saying,

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your ancestors long ago when I rescued them from their slavery in Egypt.

“ This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery, saying,

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel says:‘ I made a covenant with your forefathers on the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, saying,

“ Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel:‘ I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,

Thus saith Jehovah, the God of Israel: I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,

“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says: I made a covenant with your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the place of slavery, saying:

Thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,

“ The LORD God of Israel has a message for you.‘ I made a covenant with your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt where they had been slaves. It stipulated,

“ Yahweh, the God of Israel, says:‘ I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage, saying,

耶和華就差遣先知對他們說：「以色列的上帝耶和華說，『我曾把你們從受奴役之地——埃及領出來，

這約不同於我與他們祖先所立的約，就是我牽著他們祖先的手領他們離開埃及時所立的。雖然我是他們的丈夫，他們卻違背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。」

他又把約書念給百姓聽，百姓聽了都說：「我們願意遵行耶和華的一切吩咐，我們願意順服。」摩西便把盆中的血灑在百姓身上，說：「這是立約的血，是耶和華按所說的話與你們立約的憑據。」

我們的上帝耶和華曾在何烈山與我們立約，這約不是與我們祖先立的，乃是與我們今天還活著的人立的。

摩西下山把耶和華的話和法令都告訴百姓，百姓齊聲回答：「我們願意遵行耶和華的一切吩咐。」

你們要記住自己曾在埃及做過奴隸，因此要謹遵這些律例。

要記住，你們曾在埃及做過奴隸，你們的上帝耶和華拯救了你們。所以，我吩咐你們這樣行。

因為自從我把你們祖先從埃及領出來的那天起，一直到今天，我一再勸誡他們要聽從我的話。

切勿心驕氣傲，忘記你們的上帝耶和華。祂把你們從受奴役之地——埃及救出來，

要記住，你們曾在埃及做奴隸，你們的上帝耶和華拯救了你們。所以，我今天吩咐你們這樣做。

因為我把你們祖先帶出埃及的時候，並沒有吩咐他們獻燔祭或其他祭物，

你們要用石頭打死他們，因為他們企圖使你們背棄你們的上帝耶和華，祂曾把你們從受奴役之地——埃及領出來。

「『我是你的上帝耶和華，曾把你領出埃及，使你不再受奴役。

「我是你的上帝耶和華，曾把你領出埃及，使你不再受奴役。

而是因為祂愛你們，遵守祂向你們祖先所起的誓。因此，祂用大能的手把你們從受奴役的地方領出來，從埃及王法老手中救贖了你們。

我把你們的祖先從埃及——苦難的熔爐裡帶出來，那時我吩咐他們遵守這約。他們若聽從我的話，遵行我的吩咐，就必做我的子民，我也必做他們的上帝。

耶和華除了與以色列人在何烈山立約外，還在摩押吩咐摩西與以色列人立以下的約。

將來你們的子孫問起這件事的意義，你們就回答，『耶和華曾經用大能的手把我們從受奴役之地——埃及領出來。

摩西對百姓說：「你們要記住離開埃及的這一天，因為耶和華用大能的手把你們從受奴役的地方解救出來。不可吃帶酵的食物。

要小心，不可忘記把你們從受奴役之地——埃及救出來的耶和華。

主又說，那些日子以後，我將與以色列家立這樣的約，我要把我的律法放在他們腦中，寫在他們心上。我要作他們的上帝，他們要作我的子民。誰都無需再教導自己的鄰居和弟兄，說，『你要認識主。』因為他們無論尊卑都必認識我。
