这城要在地上万国人面前使我得颂赞，得荣耀，名为可喜可乐之城。万国人因听见我向这城所赐的福乐、所施的恩惠平安，就惧怕战兢。”

天下億兆、聞我降福於斯民、恆錫亨通、必忻喜懽忭、揄揚我名、戰慄寅畏。

天下萬國、聞我降福於斯民、亦必欣喜、揄揚我名、頌美我、歸榮於我、因我降福於耶路撒冷、賜以平康、必畏懼戰慄、畏懼戰慄或作詫異驚駭

Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.’

Then this city will bring me fame, joy, praise and honor. All the nations on earth will hear about the good things I do for this city. They will see the great success and peace I give it. Then they will be filled with wonder. And they will tremble with fear.”

And this city shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it.

Then this city will bring me joy, glory, and honor before all the nations of the earth! The people of the world will see all the good I do for my people, and they will tremble with awe at the peace and prosperity I provide for them.

This city will bear on my behalf a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, who will hear of all the prosperity I will give them. They will tremble with awe because of all the good and all the peace I will bring about for them.

It will be to Me a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, which will hear of all the good that I do for them, and they will be frightened and tremble because of all the good and all the peace that I make for it.’

And this city shall be to me for a name of joy, for a praise and for a glory, before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them, and shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I procure unto it.

你們也不要讓神靜止，直至他建立耶路撒冷，等到他使耶路撒冷在地上成為受人讚美的城。

那時，你看見了，就必有光彩，你的心又驚訝又寬暢；因為大海的財富都必轉來歸你，列國的財富也都歸你。

因為腰帶怎樣緊貼著人的腰，我也曾怎樣使以色列全家和猶大全家緊貼著我，好使他們作我的子民，叫我得名聲，得讚美，得榮耀；可是他們卻不聽從。’”這是耶和華的宣告。

他使我口唱新歌，讚美我們的神；許多人看見了，就必懼怕，並且要倚靠耶和華。

我們所有的仇敵聽見了，我們四圍所有的民族都懼怕，敵人的聲勢一落千丈，他們都承認這工程是靠著我們神的幫助完成的。

耶和華你的神在你中間，他是施行拯救的大能者，必因你歡欣快樂，必默然愛你，而且必因你喜樂歡唱。”“那些屬你，為了切慕大會而憂愁的人，他們擔當了羞辱；我必招聚他們。看哪！那時我必對付一切苦待你的人；我必拯救那些瘸腿的，聚集那些被趕散的；在全地受羞辱的，我必使他們得稱讚，有名聲。那時我必把你們領回，那時我必把你們齊集；我使你們被擄的人歸回的時候，必在你們眼前，叫你們在地上的萬民中得稱讚，有名聲。”這是耶和華說的。

那時，我們滿口喜笑，滿舌歡呼；那時列國中有人說：“耶和華為他們行了大事。”耶和華為我們行了大事，我們就歡喜。

後來以色列人必歸回，尋求耶和華他們的神，尋求大衛他們的王。在末後的日子，他們必戰戰兢兢來到耶和華那裡，接受他的恩惠。

‘那時，人必稱耶路撒冷為耶和華的寶座，萬國要聚集到她那裡，因耶和華名的緣故來到耶路撒冷；他們必不再隨從自己頑梗的惡心行事。

童女以色列啊！我要再次建立你，你就必被建立。你要再次拿起鈴鼓，出去和那些歡樂的人一同跳舞。

以下這一封信，是耶利米先知從耶路撒冷寄給被擄的祭司、先知和眾民，以及尚存的長老，就是尼布甲尼撒從耶路撒冷擄到巴比倫去的。

為甚麼因你們手所作的，在你們來寄居的埃及地向別神燒香，惹我發怒，以致你們被除滅，成為地上萬國咒詛和羞辱的對象呢？

“看哪！我要使耶路撒冷成為令周圍萬族喝醉的杯；耶路撒冷被圍困的時候，猶大也必受到攻擊。

願萬國看見，就為自己的一切勢力而慚愧；願他們用手掩口，耳朵變聾。願他們舔土像蛇，又像在地上腹行的動物。願他們戰戰兢兢地從他們的要塞出來，帶著驚慌的心來到耶和華我們的神那裡，因你的緣故而懼怕。

“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘將來還有萬族的人和多個城市的居民要來。一城的居民到另一城去，對他們說：我們快去懇求耶和華施恩，求告萬軍之耶和華；我自己也去。必有很多的民族和強大的國家前來，在耶路撒冷求告萬軍之耶和華，懇求他施恩。’“萬軍之耶和華這樣說：‘在那些日子，必有十個說不同方言，來自列國的人，緊抓住一個猶大人的衣襟，說：讓我們與你們同去吧，因為我們聽見神與你們同在。’”

世上列國一聽見耶和華戰敗了以色列的仇敵，就都懼怕神。

萬民聽見，就必戰抖；疼痛恐懼抓住了非利士的居民。那時，以東的族長驚惶，摩押的英雄被戰兢抓住，所有迦南的居民都膽戰心寒。恐懼戰兢臨到他們身上；因著你大能的手臂，他們像石頭一樣寂然不動；直到你的人民過去，耶和華啊，直到你買贖的人民過去。

在各省各城中，王的命令和諭旨所到之處，猶大人都歡喜快樂，飲宴放假；那地的人民，有許多因為懼怕猶大人，就都自認是猶大人。

列國必看見你的公義，眾王必看見你的榮耀；人要給你起一個新名，是耶和華親口指定的。你在耶和華的手中要作美麗的冠冕，在你神的掌上要作君王的華冠。

我就必使這殿像示羅一樣，使這城成為地上列國咒詛的對象。’”

人必稱他們為聖潔的子民，為耶和華買贖回來的人；你也必稱為被愛慕的，不被遺棄的城。
