Then this city will bring me renown, joy, praise and honor before all nations on earth that hear of all the good things I do for it; and they will be in awe and will tremble at the abundant prosperity and peace I provide for it.’

And this city shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and a glory before all the nations of the earth who shall hear of all the good that I do for them. They shall fear and tremble because of all the good and all the prosperity I provide for it.

Then this city will bring me joy, glory, and honor before all the nations of the earth! The people of the world will see all the good I do for my people, and they will tremble with awe at the peace and prosperity I provide for them.

This city will bear on my behalf a name of joy, praise, and glory before all the nations of the earth, who will hear of all the prosperity I will give them. They will tremble with awe because of all the good and all the peace I will bring about for them.

要常常敦促祂，直到祂建立耶路撒冷，使耶路撒冷成为普世歌颂的城。

你看见后就容光焕发，心花怒放，因为海上的货物要归给你，列国的财富都要归给你。

我本想使以色列人和犹大人紧靠着我，就像腰带紧贴在人的腰间，让他们做我的子民，使我声名远扬、得到赞美和尊崇，他们却不肯听从。这是耶和华说的。’

祂赐给我一首新歌，一首赞美我们上帝的诗歌。许多人看见便敬畏、信靠耶和华。

我们的敌人和周围各国听说后，都感到惧怕和气馁，因为他们知道这工作是在上帝的帮助下完成的。

你的上帝耶和华与你同在，祂是大能的拯救者，祂必因你而欢喜快乐，欢然歌唱，用祂的爱安慰你。”“我必招聚你那里因不能守节期而忧愁的人，使你不再蒙受羞辱。看啊，那时我必惩罚所有欺压你的人，拯救瘸腿的，召回分散的，使他们的羞辱化为尊荣，声名远播。那时，我必招聚你们，带你们回到故土。你们回到故土后，我必使你们在天下万民中声名远播，得到尊荣。”这是耶和华说的。

我们笑声不止，欢呼歌唱。列邦都说：“耶和华为他们成就了伟大的事。”耶和华实在为我们成就了伟大的事，我们充满了喜乐。

之后，以色列人将回心转意，寻求他们的上帝耶和华，归向他们的君王大卫。在末后的日子，他们将怀着敬畏的心归向耶和华，领受祂的恩惠。

那时，耶路撒冷会被称为‘耶和华的宝座’，万国都要聚集在耶路撒冷敬拜耶和华，不再执迷不悟地作恶。

以色列人啊，我要重建你们的家园，你们要再次拿起铃鼓与欢乐的人一同跳舞。

耶哥尼雅王、太后、宫廷侍臣、犹大和耶路撒冷的官员、技工和工匠被尼布甲尼撒王掳到巴比伦后，耶利米先知从耶路撒冷寄信给被掳之人中幸存的长老、先知和众民。

你们为什么在埃及向别的神明烧香，惹我发怒，自招毁灭，成为天下万国咒诅和羞辱的对象呢？

“看啊，我要使耶路撒冷成为令周围万民昏醉的酒杯。耶路撒冷被围困时，犹大也必受困。

列国看见这一切，都必因自己势力衰微而羞愧，都必用手捂口，耳朵变聋。他们要像蛇一样舔土，又如地上的爬虫，战战兢兢地走出营寨；他们必畏惧我们的上帝耶和华，他们必对你充满恐惧。

各族的人和各城的居民都必来这里。这是万军之耶和华说的。这一城的居民必到那一城，说，我们快去向耶和华求恩，去寻求万军之耶和华吧！我自己也去。各民族和各强国必来耶路撒冷寻求万军之耶和华，向耶和华求恩。那时，十个来自列国、讲不同语言的人必拉住一个犹大人的衣角，说，让我们跟你们同去吧，因为我们听说上帝与你们同在。这是万军之耶和华说的。’”

列邦列国听闻耶和华打败了以色列的敌人，都很惧怕。

各邦各族听见这些事就发抖，非利士人也痛苦不堪，以东的族长惶恐，摩押的英雄颤栗，迦南的居民都胆战心惊。惊骇恐惧笼罩着他们。耶和华啊，你臂膀的大能吓得他们僵立如石，直到你的子民都安然走过，直到你买赎的子民都安然走过。

各省各城，凡谕旨所到之处，犹太人都欢喜快乐，设宴庆祝。许多当地人因惧怕犹太人而入了犹太籍。

耶路撒冷啊，列国必看见你的公义，列王必看见你的荣耀，耶和华必亲口赐你一个新名字。你必成为耶和华手中的华冠，你上帝手上的荣冕。

我必使这殿像示罗一样被毁，使耶路撒冷被万国咒诅。”’”

他们将被称为圣民，是耶和华救赎的人。你将被称为蒙眷爱、不再被撇弃的城。
