則我遺棄雅各之裔、及我僕大衛之裔、不取大衛之裔、以治亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之後、蓋我必返其俘囚、加以矜恤、

則雅各家及我僕大闢、豈可棄之如遺、必簡其子孫、使治亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各後裔、蓋我必矜恤之、返其俘囚。

若能爽能廢、則我亦遐棄雅各之苗裔與我僕大衛、不復使大衛之裔、治理亞伯拉罕以撒雅各之子孫、蓋我必使其被擄者旋歸、且施之以矜恤、

then I will reject the descendants of Jacob and David my servant and will not choose one of his sons to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. For I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.’”

Only then would I turn my back on the children of Jacob and my servant David. Only then would I not choose one of David’s sons to rule over the children of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. But I will bless my people with great success again. I will love them with tender love.’ ”

then I will reject the offspring of Jacob and David my servant and will not choose one of his offspring to rule over the offspring of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. For I will restore their fortunes and will have mercy on them.”

I will never abandon the descendants of Jacob or David, my servant, or change the plan that David’s descendants will rule the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Instead, I will restore them to their land and have mercy on them.”

then I might also reject the descendants of Jacob and of my servant David. That is, I would not take rulers from his descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. But in fact, I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.”

then will I also cast away the seed of Jacob, and of David my servant, so that I will not take of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and will have mercy on them.

then I might also reject the seed of Jacob and of My servant David— not taking from his descendants rulers over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Instead, I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.”

Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob, and David my servant,[ so] that I will not take[ any] of his seed[ to be] rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.

Just as surely as I have done this, so surely will I never reject the descendants of Jacob. Nor will I ever refuse to choose one of my servant David’s descendants to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Indeed, I will restore them and show mercy to them.”

以法蓮是我親愛的兒子嗎？是我喜悅的孩子嗎？每逢我說話攻擊他，我必再次記念他。因此，我的心戀慕他；我必定憐憫他。”這是耶和華的宣告。

在怒氣漲溢的時候，我暫時向你掩面，卻要以永遠的慈愛憐憫你；這是耶和華你的救贖主說的。

因為神把所有的人都圈在不順服之中，為了要憐憫所有的人。

權杖必不離開猶大，王圭必不離他兩腳之間，直到細羅﹙“細羅”有古譯本作“屬他的那位”﹚來到，萬族都要臣服他。

我必使猶大被擄的和以色列被擄的都歸回，並且建立他們像起初一樣。我必潔淨他們得罪我的一切罪孽，並且赦免他們得罪我和悖逆我的一切罪孽。這城必在地上萬國面前使我得名聲，得喜樂（按照《馬索拉文本》，“得名聲，得喜樂”應作“得喜樂的名聲”；現參照《七十士譯本》翻譯），得頌讚，得榮耀，因為萬國必聽見我向這城的人所施的一切福樂。他們因我向這城所施的一切福樂和平安，就都恐懼戰兢。’“耶和華這樣說：‘論到這地方，你們說：“這地荒廢，沒有人煙，也沒有牲畜。”但在這荒涼、沒有人煙、沒有居民、也沒有牲畜的猶大各城和耶路撒冷的街上，必再聽見歡喜和快樂的聲音，新郎和新婦的聲音；還要聽見那些帶著感恩祭到耶和華殿的人的聲音說：“你們要稱謝萬軍之耶和華，因為耶和華是至善的，他的慈愛永遠長存。”因為我必使這地被擄的歸回，像起初一樣。’”這是耶和華說的。

這些猶大省的人，從前被巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒擄到巴比倫去，現在他們從被擄之地回到耶路撒冷和猶大，各歸自己的城鎮。

我要使猶大家強盛起來，我必拯救約瑟家。我要使他們歸回，因為我憐憫他們；他們好像未遭我棄絕一樣，因為我是耶和華他們的神，我必應允他們。

於是祭司、利未人、歌唱者、守門的、作殿役的，和一部分人民住在城裡；以色列眾人都住在自己的城裡。
